Well, first of all, apologies for no tips the past two days. We had a bit of an emergency take to care of, but things are back on track and we’ll be posting our free sports betting tips as usual.
It’s Friday, and there is a fair few European Championship qualifiers on tonight, as well as the usual fare of CFL, NFL and our darts tipster is still consumed with the Grand Slam of Darts, which continues tonight. So, without any more hesitation, let’s get back into it instead of waffling, because we know you’ve missed us.
European Championship Qualifying Tips
Scotland vs Ireland Betting Tips
A lot of excitement around this clash, as both sides will know how important a win here will be to their qualification chances. Both teams have looked good, with Ireland getting a huge result against Germany, will Scotland will be just a tad disappointed to draw with Poland after leading 2-1.
What we like the look of here is goals, goals, goals. Both sides will want to attack, but have suspect defenses and they also have some qualify forwards in their sides. The price on over 2.5 goals is ridiculously high for us, at around 13/8. Both sides are going to go for it, so get on the goals.
Germany vs Gibraltar
You might think it’s strange we’re looking at this game, as it’s going to be so one-sided. But there is something that jumped out to all of us in the office. Yes, Germany are going to win, and win well, but the bookies have overestimated them, just like they did with England against San Marino. The fact is, Gibraltar will come out to defend and attempt to keep the score respectable. They’re not going to score, they’ll concede quite a few, but the bookies are looking at 9 goals being the favourite here. We can’t see that at all, especially when Germany are in a mini-crisis right now. They’ll get 6 or 7, sure, but 8 or 9 isn’t going to be easy. A goal every ten minutes? We don’t think so.
Definitely get on under 9.5 goals in the Germany vs Gibraltar game, and we’re also having a dabble on Under 8.5 which is a huge 6/4 or thereabouts.
Grand Slam of Darts Betting Tip
Dave Chisnall vs Keegan Brown.
The talking point of the Grand Slam of Darts this week has been Keegan Brown. The World Youth Champion got through his group, beating two-time World Champion Adrian Lewis on the way, then got past Raymond van Barneveld in an unbelievably assured performance. What stands out about the youngster’s game is his scoring – he’s also pretty fearless.
With Dave Chisnall, you know what you’re going to get – a lot of 180s, and often some dodgy doubling. But he looks a decent thing here, as he’s coming into some kind of form, and the longer he can avoid Michael van Gerwen, the happier he’ll be.
We like the 180s line here – 15.5 is going to be smashed in a best of 31 legs match. Expect Chisnall to pull away at some point and not look back, either.
NHL Betting Tips for November 14th, 2014:
And we have two NHL tips for this evening, which we’re excited about.
First up, we have the Capitals hosting the Devils. We backed the Devils earlier in the week against the Wild, but we don’t think they’re going to be coming out victorious tonight against Washington. Washington are on a hot streak, especially at home, and they’re looking to capitalize against a team that is pretty inconsistent. We expected them to be shorter here, so bet Washington Capitals to beat the New Jersey Devils. The -1 line is also tasty, so if you’re feeling confident, get on it.
The second game we like the look of is Pittsburgh vs Toronto. This game has goals in it, we reckon, and the Penguins are coming off the back of a 5 goal defeat in New York, so we know they’re wanting to bounce back from that. The Leafs are not going to make it easy for them, and they’re a team with goals in them as well as being a team that can ship them. The line is 5.5, and we think they’re going in for 6 or more. Over 5.5 goals in Pittsburgh Penguins vs Toronto Maple Leafs game is definitely our play here, as we’re going to see both teams going for it.
