If you followed our tips yesterday, it was an even day.
I lost with the Flames -1.5. What a surprise that entire series was. It really is anyones game in the NHL playoffs this year.
I didn’t take a play in the Bruins vs Leafs game and that was for the best. The trend indicated the Leafs, but I was concerned about the way the Bruins would come out. As it is, Leafs won but it could have been anyones game.
In the NBA it was a 3-1 night. Our big play was on the Raptors -4 and they covered although it was a bit closer than I would have liked.
I went with Pacers -3. They lost, but our play of the under 203.5 came in so that was good.
Finally Blazers +8 didn’t come in as the Thunder did what they had to do.
It’s April 20th, 2019. Hope some of you are watching UFC right now – belter of a show.
We’ve got sports all day long so let’s get to it:
NBA Playoff Bets – April 20th, 2019:
76ers vs Nets is an interesting one. This is one that me and Vin are conflicted on and we both almost prefer that Embiid would be out.
I’m saying 76ers -1.5 if Embiid is out as I think they bond together mentally etc without Joel, and then go home for the win to wrap it up. Vin thinks that it is do or die for the Nets and he is taking the Over 231.5.
Nuggets vs Spurs was one we both agreed on. While the Nuggets have a bad record playing in San Antonio, we think Denver takes it here and Jamal Murray steps it up. He had a quiet game 3 but we saw him bounce back in Game 2 and expect the same here. Nuggets +3.5 is the play
I don’t have a play in Bucks vs Pistons. I’m sure Bucks win but not sure if they cover the spread but they should dominate. Vin thinks they take it with ease and he is going to go with Bucks -8.
We oppose each other in the final game of the day, Jazz vs Rockets. I personally like the Jazz -2.5. I think we see that better performance from them and they step it up while the Rockets show a bit of complacency.
Vin thinks Harden keeps it going.
NHL Playoff Bets – April 20th, 2019:
Three tricky games in the NHL today and I am only going with the one bet which is Predators -1.5.
There’s no statistical mathematical data behind that or anything. It’s just when you watch the playoffs you sometimes get a feeling ya know? And this seems like that type of game. After three tight games, the Dallas Stars blew the Predators away in the last game. I just get that feeling we see a receipt tonight, and the Preds thump them.
The other two games there just isn’t any value in my opinion. Slight leans on Jets and the Over in the Capitals game.
