A Saturday is upon us which means it must be time for yet another UFC show!
UFC Fight Night 150 hails from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
It features the main event of Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza vs Jack Hermansson. Greg Hardy is also notably on the card.
It’s a pretty solid card. One of those where the casuals will recognize enough names to tune in, and the hardcores will recognize the fight quality possibilities we’ve got going here.

UFC Fight Night 150 Predictions:
Augusto Sakai to win. Normally when it comes to the heavyweights and the way a lot of those fights end, I’ll back the underdog. Odds dependent of course. However the odds on Arlovski just aren’t too strong and I think he is on his way down. Sakai is a beast and UFC want him to get the win here. Arlovski doesn’t have the speed anymore and bar a freak knockout Sakai should take this one.
Carla Esparza to win. Going with the underdog here. After losing the title to JJ she’s turned things around and got that win over Calvillo. Probably should have beat Gadelha too Jandiroba is coming in on short notice which is never good. A lot of people underestimate Carla but she is excellent at striking and can wrestle well enough too. I see a 29-28 or 30-27 victory for Carla.
Jason Gonzalez to win. I Love Jim Miller and I hope I am wrong here but I think Gonzalez takes this. Not due to the strengths of Gonzalez but I just think the game is passing Miller by. He hasn’t fought since that Oliveira loss and he just looks older each time he gets in the octagon. Miller has the experience but I think Gonzalez will take this one.
Jacare to win by submission. I’ve enjoyed the progress of Hermansson but one thing we always see in MMA is different tiers of fighters. Souza is quite simply in a higher tier and should take this one easy enough and via submission is my prediction. Him just winning is a crap price.
Dmitrii Smolyakov to win. I won’t be surprised if I lose this one however Greg Hardys UFC debut didn’t impress me. The blueprint was out there for how to beat him. You just have to survive that early onslaught. He’ll tire and tire fast. I’m 100% convinced that UFC have set up this fight to showcase Greg Hardy with a KO and I have no doubt it will happen. However he doesn’t have the fight IQ and Smolyakov should rely on his wrestling here and he might be okay. Frustrate Hardy, slow him down and he can win. Like I said Hardy by KO is most likely but it’s worth a bet in my opinion. If Dmitry has the fight IQ, he can take this one.
