Yesterday we had a 1-2 day, but our 1 was a big 1 which was nice.
Our win came with the Chicago Cubs defeating the San Francisco Giants in MLB. Quite the intense game that worked out to be, and we cashed in with the Cubs at +150 on that one. Great job Cubs.
Unfortunately, we lost with the two other betting tips – both in the UEFA Europa League. We had Hull vs Lokeren to be a draw and in hindsight, that was still the best bet. Unfortunately a massive mistake from Allan McGregor cost us it. Oh well – what can you do?
Our other loss, to make it a slight losing day, was in the PAOK Salonika game vs Zimbru. The Moldovans picked up a massive 1-0 win there. Congrats to them – and screw them too!
Alright so it’s August 22nd, and we’re going to be doing three betting tips as per usual. Let’s get to them:
Bundesliga Betting Tips: Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg
The Bundesliga kicks off today, August 22nd and we’re going to be backing Munich to get the win here.
Of course – the odds aren’t that great. Munich are 1/4 for the win, while the draw is 5/1 and Wolfsburg is 9/1.
Coming off a hot World Cup however, we believe the German side will have no problem dominating and winning this game. So many quality players obviously, and this should be a nice easy victory for them.
So we will be doing a half time/full time bet on Bayern Munich-Bayern Munich. The odds still aren’t great – 8/13 odds as of this writing – but still a fair price.
Super Cup Betting Tips: Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid
The bookies are giving too good a price on Atletico Madrid to ignore here. The odds are Atletico 3/1, a draw 12/5 and Real Madrid 11/10.
Atletico Madrid are a fantastic team. Real Madrid? Yeah they’re pretty good too – but they’ve had so many changes it may take time for things to flow for them.
We watched the first leg and felt Atletico did enough to win the game. So when you get this game here with 3/1 odds on them – when it’s probably more a 1/1 type deal – 2/1 if you factor in the draw, then yeah we’re getting a good price here.
Bet on Atletico Madrid to defeat Real Madrid. You could play it safe and go with Atletico to win the trophy at 5/4, but we like them to win in 90 minutes.
WNBA Betting Tips: LA Sparks vs Phoenix Mercury
This is a tight game between these two teams, and we feel the point spread is mindblowing. The LA Sparks are getting 10.5 points in this one – seriously?
They should not be priced at more than 5.5 points here. Our WNBA expert has green dollar signs where his eyeballs used to be at the moment after seeing this price.
