We took yesterday off as there was no games that jumped out at us. It ended up being a night of blowouts as all three games on the slate ended up being decided by 22 or more.

We dropped our one pick on Wednesday as the Thunder won, but failed to cover the spread. They got absolutely shredded in the second quarter by the Nets and had to mount a huge comeback to win it. Paul George scored 25 points in the fourth quarter with 47 points overall, and Russell Westbrook had a triple double. A great game to watch towards the end there, but didn’t end up being enough to get us the win.

We have a full slate tonight including a huge game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Golden State Warriors. Let’s take a look at what we have for tonight’s games.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Golden State Warriors: I really want to take the Bucks here, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. The Bucks dominated this team in Golden State earlier this year and play at home tonight where they’ve done very well. That said, this is the Warriors we’re talking about and if they get going from three there is nothing Milwaukee will be able to do about it. I think I’ll just enjoy watching this one.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs: All signs are pointing to the Lakers here as the Spurs defense is in a real bad place right now. I am staying away because these two just played each other and it’s really hard to beat the same team back-to-back in this league.

Miami Heat vs. Phoenix Suns: I don’t like to pick teams that are 4-21 so I am staying away, but Phoenix +8.5 at home is an interesting one. They’ll be without Devin Booker which could motivate them. While Miami will be without Hassan Whiteside so maybe DeAndre Ayton has a great game. I’m not going to take it, but Miami isn’t a good enough team to lay this many.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Chicago Bulls Betting Tips:

The Bulls have now lost seven straight games and eleven of their past twelve. They are not a good team. Lauri Markkanen is back and Zach LaVine can score with the best of them, but this team is awful on defense and draws a really tough match-up against what has been the best defense in the NBA.

Oklahoma City is the team that everyone thought they would be last year. They might be the second best team in the West and the Westbrook/George pairing is really working for them. This team is all about their defense though. They rank 1st in Defensive Rating and the Bulls rank 30th in Offensive Rating. This could be a slaughter and I really like the Thunder tonight. I’d normally be worried about the Thunder underestimating a team like this, but after that last game against the Nets I don’t think that will be a problem.
