Wizards vs Knicks: Wizards go into this one as 5 point favourites, but this is a very special day for the New York Knicks. They were in the first NBA game on Christmas, as well as played the most games on Christmas Day. All they want from Santa is to break the losing streak.
It’d be nice – but man; the Wizards are just a solid team. Unfortunately the most annoying thing is Stoudemire and J.R. Smith are both game time decisions. We’re an hour away and no news yet.
Here’s what we recommend: 1 of them back, bet half of what you’d usually bet on the Knicks. Both of them back? Then go for it with a full unit bet on the Knicks.
Thunder vs Spurs: Spurs are 5.5 favourites. Get on them. Thunder are without Durant – that’s a big loss. Spurs always match up well with the Thunder, and this should be an easy game for them with Durant out.
Cavaliers vs Heat: Love so much that this game is on Christmas day, and the Cavs are -6. What a freaking game this is going to be, and LeBron is an insta pick in the DraftKings $50k Holiday Classic. Heat will be up for this game though – so it’s quite a fascinating game. In saying that, if LeBron wants to continually be mentioned against the likes of Jordan – then this is where he needs to shine. Heat are beaten up as it is, and we’ll take the Cavs -6 here.
Lakers vs Bulls: Should be interesting to see Gasol and Bryant on the same court, but not side by side. Lakers are 10.5 underdogs and we like them here. Kobe is back apparently – you might want to wait for confirmation on that – but they already pulled off the big win without him. This is a team that is super motivated, and feeling confident. Take the Lakers +10.5.
Warriors vs Clippers: This should be quite the shooting gallery. Both teams will abandon defense and it’ll be like a bloody All Star game. Clippers have been disappointing lately – but I mean even though they are shooting 40.2% the last game or two – they’re still scoring over 100 freaking points.
Take the Over 218 on this one. We like it to hopefully hit 230 at least.
