We had a great day yesterday with the sports betting tips, going 3-0.
We took the Mets to beat the Nationals in MLB, and they did just that with a 6-1 thrashing and Wheeler had a terrific performance. We liked him to do the business and he did just that.
In Scottish soccer, we went with Hibs or Draw at 9/5 odds against Rangers. After 90 minutes that one was a draw, so we won that bet as well. Fun fact: if you had bet Rangers-Draw for first half/second half results, the odds were 16/1. Yikes – in hindsight that’s not a bad bet to make either for the value.
We then also had the Mystics to cover the point spread and while we said it was expected to be a close game they ended up winning by over 30 points haha. Crazy.
We’re going to do some Champions League soccer betting tips today, with Celtic vs Legia Warsaw the game we’re focusing on. We’ve also got some betting tips for the 2014 PGA Championship taking place in Louisville, Kentucky and finally some more baseball action with Yankees vs Tigers Betting Tips.
Champions League Betting Tips: Celtic vs Legia Warsaw
Celtic got hammered 4-1 in the first leg, but they’re back at Celtic Park for the second leg. Celtic are usually invincible in Europe at home – surely the question isn’t will they win, but by how many goals?
However with a new manager in place, excuses already coming out, fatigue possibly setting in etc – it’s a weird time at the moment for Celtic. On top of all that their board won’t spend any money. I don’t blame them personally – but the fans are revolting against that. They want to see Celtic splash the cash.
Short odds pick here, but we have to go with Celtic to at least get the win.
MLB Betting Tips: Yankees vs Tigers
This is the 3rd of 4 games in this series. Yankees have had a lot of close games lately, with 16 games in a row and 2 runs being the difference. Crazy.
Their offense just isn’t performing and if it wasn’t for McCarthy and Kuroda things would be a lot worse for the yankees.
Our computer system likes the Yankees to pick up the win here. Odds aren’t massive, but Yankees are slight underdogs when we feel they should be slight favourites, so that’s what we will take.
PGA Championship 2014 Betting Tips:
The PGA Championship kicks off tomorrow, and the favourite to no surprise is Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy has been on a tear at the moment, but can he take down the PGA Championship?
5/1 odds for such a big field are off putting. However we can’t ignore Rory either. He’s just on a complete other level right now, but we can’t sit here and bet 5/1 odds on him either.
We’re going to play it safe. We believe he is going to be consistent, and will be there, or thereabouts at the end as nothing seems to face him at the moment.
