If you missed it yesterday, we posted the Golf Betting Tips for the upcoming tournaments. The Abu Dhabi Championship has already kicked off, but if you’re quick you can still bet on the Sony Open.
And of course remember you can play fantasy golf for each tournament at DraftKings. This is always a blast and highly recommended. It’s great watching the golf with 5 golfers in your field.
Yesterday was a mixed day for the tips. We lost with the Capitals -1.5. They went up 1-0 early and pounded the net but that 2nd goal was elusive. We also went 1-1 with NBA. Rockets failed big time, but the Hawks came up big. We had some nice cash on that one so that was a good cash.
Today is January 15th, 2014. Let’s get to the tips:
NBA Betting Tips for January 15th:
3 games tonight, and we have tips in two of them. Although I should note that if Anthony is playing, bet the Knicks +6.5. Why the hell not.
Thunder are on a big break, and they are taking on the Rockets who were dominated last night. We think the Rockets will have a big bounce back game tonight. Everyone seems to be jumping all over the Thunder, but we think the rest will actually not be good for them. We’ll be taking Rockets -1.5 this fine evening.
And we’re also going to go for a risky bet on Lakers +6. Cavs are still struggling hard, and LeBron I don’t think is fully fit just yet. Hopefully Kobe plays tonight and steps it up – but man, isn’t it sad the state of these teams, when we have a Kobe vs LeBron battle? Sad to see, but this should be a good game assuming Kobe plays.
NHL Betting Tips for January 15th:
We love a high scoring game in Stars vs Jets, and will take Over 5.5 goals in that game. Both offenses are killing it at the moment and even better – both defenses are just a mess, conceding goals like they get points for it or something. So let’s go with that one and then sit back and laugh as it ends 0-0 and goes to a shootout.
We’ll also be taking Ottawa to win and end this great run the Habs have on their road trip. I read earlier this was the first time since 1982 that the Habs have won 6 on the road. That just seems insane considering their success and quality over the years. 1982! I was 1 years old at that time. Unreal.
Also just saw the news that Rinne is out until after the All-Star break – ouch. Nashville will struggle big without him. Blindly betting against them tomorrow I think.
We’ll take Over 5.5 goals in Leafs vs Sharks. Sharks are such an odd team when they play the crap teams – and sadly Leafs fans, we need to throw you in there. We expect this one to be either a massive blowout by the Sharks, or a fighting win for the Leafs. Either way let’s hope for goals and lots of them.
