The NHL season returns with a bang on Saturday, August 1st with a whopping five games taking place on both Saturday and Sunday.
What an awesome weekend it is going to be.
I’m going to cover all of the NHL series that are beginning this weekend and give you the best betting odds for each NHL series.
I have went through a wide variety of sportsbooks to find the best betting odds.
I won’t have actual betting tips at this point. Instead just a brief history of how the teams performed against each other this season. I will be writing NHL betting tips here from Friday onwards. All odds are accurate as of 6pm EST on July 28th, 2020.

Rangers vs Hurricanes Best Odds & Betting Preview:
The Rangers and Hurricanes have played four times during the season so far.
The Rangers won all 4 games home and away. All were high scoring games as the Rangers won 4-2, 3-2, 5-3 and 5-2. All games were won in regulation.

The Canadiens and Penguins have played three games this season.
The Habs won 4-1 in Pittsburgh. The Penguins won 3-2 in Montreal in OT and then won the third game 4-1 back home.

Jets vs Flames Best Odds & Betting Preview:
The Flames and Jets only played the once during the regular season.
The Jets won 2-1 at home in OT.

Blackhawks vs Oilers Best Odds & Betting Preview:
The Blackhawks got the better of the Oilers during the regular season with a 3-1 win and a 4-3 win both at home.
The Oilers won at home 5-3.

Panthers vs Islanders Best Odds & Betting Preview:
These two teams matched up three times with all low scoring games.
Islanders won out winners all three times. 3-2, 2-1 and 3-1. The 3-2 win was off a shootout.
