Grand Slam of Darts 2011 Day 4 Tips

An indifferent night last night. We went 3-2, taking us to a total of 9-9 for the Grand Slam of Darts, and giving us a profit of +1.79 units for our free darts betting tips.

It was such a strange night, with Adrian Lewis taking 15 minutes to ruin our Co Stompe bet, but Magnus Caris getting us off to a great start. Martin Phillips did us a great favour, but then Arron Monk just didn’t turn up against Jan Dekker. but we got on the right side of Paul Nicholson’s victory, which put is in a good position.

Still, onwards and upwards and we’re nearing the end of the group stages in the Grand Slam of Darts, and there’s some absolutely belting matches to come.

I won’t lie, last night was disappointing, especially Scott Waites and Michael van Gerwen. “Mighty” Mike went back to his old haibts and proved how wrong I was for thinking he had turned a corner. Lesson learnt!

So, we went -2.4 units last night, taking us to +1.35 units after two days, with a record of 6-7 after two days’ play. And what a two days it’s been! Ted Hankey with the performance of the night. I don’t mean on the oche, I mean asking the entire crowd out for a scrap in the car park.

But The Count’s antics aside, a great day of darts, so let’s hope for more of the same tonight, as we head into day three of the Grand Slam of Darts with some more free darts betting tips.

We can thank an excellent win by Justin Pipe for that, as my confidence in him paid off. Aside from Pipe, some big wins and some upsets, with some short-price favourites getting turned over, most notably Gary Anderson and Scott Waites, but Raymond van Barneveld getting turned over by the first reserve also caused some excitement.

So, the Grand Slam of Darts continues and we’ve got an afternoon session as well as an evening session. We get underway at 2:00pm, so without further ado, let’s get to the free tips.

A couple of “shocks” last night, but we were on the right side of them, which is the most important thing. Phil Taylor looked unstoppable, James Wade looked injured, Brendan Dolan looked well supported and Richie Burnett turned back the clock. So, shall we?
