Premier League Darts 2011 – Week Five – Manchester

Well, we’re into week five of the PDC Premier League Darts season and it’s safe to say this is the biggest week so far. Yes, we had the opening week of Adrian Lewis, the new world champion, taking on the greatest darts player ever to have lived, Phil Taylor, but now we’re getting Phil Taylor taking on the in form player in the world, Gary Anderson. The crowd in Manchester are in for a real treat and the supporting line-up might not be too bad, either!

Last week we went 2-1, taking us to 4-8, with a loss of -10 units. Again, keep the faith and we’ll be in the green in no time!

Premier League Darts 2011 – Week Four – Exeter

Another week, more Premier League Darts tips. This week the Premier League roadshow heads to Exeter and we’re got a match that just a couple of years ago would have us watering at the mouth – Phil Taylor versus Raymond van Barneveld. Now, we’re looking forward to Taylor versus Gary Anderson, but Taylor versus Barney still has a bit of excitement attached to it, especially after Barney’s two back-to-back wins.

We’re currently 2-7 and -11.3 units, but again, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Keep the faith and I’ll get us into profit.

Premier League Darts 2011 Tips – Week Three – Belfast

Well, what can I say about last week? It was truly shocking and three players who didn’t show up in the first week played some better darts and the only player to carry their form over from the first week was Gary Anderson.

We went 0-3 last week, taking us to 2-4 and -4.8 units. A long, long way to go in the Premier League, though. Lots more matches, so remember that it’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon!

Premier League Darts 2011 Tips – Week Two – Nottingham

Well, a strange start to the Premier League Darts campaign. Some great performances by Mark Webster, Gary Anderson and Adrian Lewis, but one of the worst performances Phil Taylor has ever put in on television.

We went 2-1 last week, for a profit of +2.3 units, with Taylor letting us down big time for the perfect start to the Premier League Darts season. Still, we’re in profit and that’s the most important thing.

Nottingham has somie tasty matches on offer and their Premier League Darts crowds are always great, so expect some fireworks tonight. I’ve picked out a few tasty bets, too, so let’s get to it.
