PDC 2011 Players Championship Day Three Tips

Well, a much better day on day two of the Players Championship. We went 2-1 and we’re now 2-4 for the tournament and we’re -1 unit after two days, thanks to Steve Beaton doing us proud and Mervyn King nobbling Co Stompe in a deciding leg, after the Dutchman missed a few darts for the match. The only downside was Vincent van der Voort failing to bring his recent floor form into the tournament, losing 6-4 to Terry Jenkins. Still, we can’t complain after a profitable night.

PDC 2011 Players Championship Day Two Tips

First off, I just want to thank a friend of Darts Betting Tips, Jez, for pointing out a faux pas I made in yesterday’s selections. If you are wanting to watch the Players Championship, you can do so over at Betfair as long as you’ve a depositing customer. So, if you want to make the most of the £25 free bet and watch the darts, just sign up at the link below. Again, many thanks to Jez for pointing this out!

Now, last night’s tips were, in all honestly, not the greatest. We saw Ronnie Baxter get thumped and were on the wrong side of two 6-5 defeats. All I’ll say is that I have no idea how Wayne Jones makes a decent living playing floor tournaments when he doubles like that. I’ve never seen him double all that well on TV and since this wasn’t on TV, I had high hopes. That hopes weren’t founded. Still, I’m hoping we can push through this and make some real money now.

PDC 2011 Players Championship Day One Tips

Well, it wasn’t too long to wait until we had another tournament that we could bet on. Last year, the Players Championship was televised on ITV4, this time it’s being streamed live over at Planet Darts for a small fee, which is frustrating, as I thought it heralded a new beginning for darts coverage. Now Sky have the Grand Slam of Darts and ITV have nothing.

Anyway, it’s a fun tuornament and it comes from the Doncaster Dome, which is a shame, as I did like it coming from the Circus Tavern, as I thought it was the spiritual home of the PDC. Still, no time for sentiment when there’s a chance to make some money. Hopefully you’ve still got some of the big winnings from the BDO World Championships and we’ll invent some of it here and make some more money to start saving for that expensive summer holiday.

BDO 2011 World Championship The Final Tips

Not the greatest of days yesterday. Jan Dekker somehow found a big out shot in his crushing defeat and then Martin Phillips and Martin Adams found a tonne of 180s after such a slow start! Still, we’re now10-8 going into the last day of the BDO World Championships and we’re still in profit by a lovely +7.17 units.

A 5:45 start for the BDO World Championship Final and I think we’ve got the right two players here. Dean Winstanley and Martin Adams have played the best darts throughout the week and have consistently put in good averages compared to the rest of the field. You’d be hard pushed to find two more deserving finalists and I think this match could be a cracker, as both men can score big and both are proven fighters.

BDO 2011 World Championships Day Eight Tips

Well, antoher great night, not only for the darts, but also for our tips. Two great winners and we’re now10-6 going into the second last day of the BDO World Championships and we’re now in profit to the magic tune of +12.67 units.

Now, we probably did get lucky in the Garry Thompson versus Jan Dekker match, but I don’t care and you shouldn’t, either. The fact is, Thompson couldn’t close the match out and our selection showed a lot of bottle to fight back from 3-0 to take the match. Our other selection, Dean Winstanley, looked fantastic gaainst Stephen Bunting and he did us proud.

An early start for us tomorrow, starting at 2:30 on the BBC, so remember to get your bets on early!

BDO 2011 World Championships Day Seven Tips

What a great night! Betting-wise, we were had a push. We’re now 8-6 and we’re still in profit to the tune of +8.17 units. It was a crazy night in the Robson vs Phillips match and even though it went all the way, we scraped in on the maximums, sadly losing on the Robson bet, but it was damn close!

Again, I want to stress how important it is to shop around the bookies for the best line, as some were going 9.5 maximums, which would obviously have lost. Again, I’ll always point you in the right direction, so make sure you’re signed up to the right bookies, while taking advantage of the free bets they offer.
