The BDO World Championships start here, with England Captain Martin Adams looking to defend the title he won at the Lakeside last year, when he beat Dave Chisnall.

This isn’t as exciting a betting proposition, as some bookies tend not to price up as many markets, but there tends to be more money to be won, as the bookies don’t know as much as they do about the PDC, so we have that edge.

Right, we’ve got two days of stats to catch up on, as well as trying to catch our breath after seeing James Wade eliminated by Mensur “The Gentle” Suljovic and then Gary Anderson and Dennis Priestley serving up a cracker.

Now, that’s what I’m talking about, folks! A great day yesterday and it now means I’m having a fantastic New Year party, much to the delight of my partner. But I digress… We had a slow start to the day, but we finished with a flourish and we’re now well in profit for the tournament, with plenty of action still to come.

We’re now at 9-11 and we’re in profit to the tune of +4.5 units. Just make sure you’re following the betting advice correctly, as I’d hate for you to be missing out on making a lot more money because you’re betting the same for everything.

Welcome back to Darts Betting Tips. I hope you had a great Christmas and you’re nice and recharged for the final run-in of the PDC World Championships. Remember, the action starts in the afternoon, just after 1pm, so don’t get caught out.

Now, I promised you a running total once I had got the snow out of the way and here it is. The tips are 6-9 and they are in profit of +1.5 units. We’ve been helped by the success of our favoured bets, especially Mensur suljovic taking out Michael van Gerwen, which was my bet of the round and it paid for many Christmas drinks. Hopefully you made the most of it and got have a great night out thanks to the Austrian.

Now we’re into the second round and there’s some fantastic matches to look forward to and I think we have some brilliant bets to come now that the matches are a lot more evenly matched.

Hopefully you’re enjoying the PDC World Championships. I certainly am and we’re having the usual ups and downs that a darts tournament brings, but with Christmas around the corner, it’s our last chance to get some cash in for the last minute presents.
