PDC 2011 World Championships Day One Tips

The PDC World Championships are here! It’s the greatest time of the year, not because Santa comes down my chimney, but because Phil Taylor, Co Stompe, Simon Whitlock and the rest of the PDC brigade are at the Alexandra Palace for the start of the World Championships.

We have 15 days of darting action in store and I honestly couldn’t be happier. We had the World Cup of Darts at the start of December, which Holland won, but it was a pointless betting medium, so now we can get back into the darts betting swing of things with some proper action.

Grand Slam of Darts 2010 Day Nine Afternoon Session Tips

Well, after a great day, Saturday and the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam of Darts saw a shocking turn of events. Not only did Phil Taylor get knocked out by Steve Beaton, we had a terrible day and we now stand at 17-21 for the tournament and we have a loss of –

Yes, a bit heartbreaking and Terry Jenkins’ loss was particularly gut wrenching. However, we’ve got the semi-finals to worry about and it’s an unexpected line up, with only one seed left in the competition and only one group winner standing, James Wade and Scott Waites respectively. Now we’re into the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam of Darts, even longer matches and we’ve got, who I feel, are the players who deserve to be here. Not many group winners, but an exceptionally classy line-up.

The quarterfinals are split over two sessions, so the evening session tips will come later today.

Grand Slam of Darts 2010 Day Seven Tips

A terrible night last night, let’s be honest. We had the misfortunate of backing Robert Thornton, who seemed incapable of hitting double 20 if his life depended on it. We were a tad unlucky with King, but the other two, well, it wasn’t our day. Let’s get back on track with tonight’s Grand Slam of Darts tips.
