Well, 1-2 yesterday, but we’re +4.05 units for the tournament, which is a great accomplishment and hopefully you’ve been able to take advantage of it and made plenty of money in the build up to the World Cup. Hopefully you’ve won enough to get yourself a nice new TV to watch all the games on, or at the very least, won enough to top up the betting bankroll to have a good bet on the World Cup.

PDC UK Open Day Three Afternoon Session Tips

Another great day for us, going 2-1, with a total profit of +3.75, bringing us to a running total of +5.35 for the UK Open. Not bad at all, if I do say so myself.

It was a strange day of darts, with Wayne Mardle getting stuffed by Phil Taylor and really only Gary Anderson showing some great form out of the favourites for the title aside from Taylor. But we can’t complain, as we’re on a winning streak and the fourth round matches have gave us some nice betting opportunities.

PDC UK Open Day Two Tips

What a great first day both in terms of darts and of results. We went 2-2, but we had our bigger bets on the two winners, so we’re +1.6 units after the first day of play, which is very nice.

Sorry that the tips weren’t up earlier, but the bookies have been running scared about pricing the UK Open up early. They tend to wait now until the exchanges have settled before making their books. It’s a bit pathetic, but understandable, as they are a business and need to make their money some way. Still, it would have been nice to get some prices two hours after the draw was made, but it wasn’t to be.

PDC UK Open Day One Tips

Well, the Premier League is over and we saw history made by Phil Taylor in the final. Now we’re ack to our regularly scheduled tournaments and we start with the cliche-tastic UK Open.

It’s dubbed the FA Cup of Darts and that’s because there’s the open draw format, where Phil Taylor could meet any of the big names early on in the tournament and where a qualifier from the Rileys qualifiers, or a player from the BDO regions that voted in favour of Barry Hearn’s proposal, could go deep, or even win it. While it’s highly unlikely that will happen, simply because of the gulf in class between everyone and Phil Taylor, the chance is there and there have been shocks galore in every tournament and this year will definitely be no different.

Premier League Darts Week 14 (Nottingham) Tips

Well, a 50% strike rate last week, but a nice touch landed with Barney beating Mervyn King. I was at the darts in Newcastle last week and aside from the wonderful walk-on girls, the highlight was the crowd basically baying for blood against King. It seriously affected his game and since we had a nice bet on Barney, I was hapy to see that happening. As soon as King started taunting the crowd, I knew our bet was good.

The matches last week were exceptional – they had everything from amazing finishing from Wade and Whitlock, to drama in the Barney/King match and we had a good fight from Jenkins against Taylor and then we also had a close finish in the Adrian Lewis and Ronnie Baxter match. We’re into the last week of regular fixtures, which is a shame, but we’re still got Finals Night to come after this, then we get back to televised tournaments.

Premier League Darts Week 13 (Newcastle) Tips

Not a great week last week, thanks mostly to Simon Whitlock being incapable of closing out the match when 7-4 up. However, the Barney result was a great one, we had faith and he repaid us with a wonderful 9-dart finish. What more could you want? Happy days!

I’m really looking forward to this week’s Premier League Darts, simply because I’ll be there. That’s right, I’ll be in the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle to watch the Premier League Darts. So, if you see the dartsbettingtips.com sign, say hello and you can buy me a pint 😉 It’s a great night of darts to come and some potentially brilliant matches.
