Prepare for a boisterous crowd tonight as the Premier League Darts bandwagon rolls into Glasgow. The Scottish crowd have three home talents to cheer on, and you can bet they’re also going to be loud for the two Dutchmen in the crowd, even if they are facing each other. Adrian Lewis is going to come face a barrage of abuse from the crowd (not unusual for Jackpot in Scotland), as he faces Peter Wright. It won’t be much better for Wes Newton when he faces Robert Thornton. Simon Whitlock and Phil Taylor face off in what will be a spot of respite for the crowd, then normal service will be resumed with Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld facing off. And then, Gary Anderson will be looking to capitalise on the crowd as he faces Dave Chisnall.

First night of the Premier League Darts season last week, and there was one result everyone was talking about – Michael van Gerwen’s 7-0 victory over Phil Taylor, with the Dutchman averaging 109.59 and giving Taylor only 4 darts at a double in the entire match. Adrian Lewis also set out his stall for a big season, while there were wins on debut for Peter Wright and Dave Chisnall. Raymond van Barneveld was the night’s other winner, convincingly beating Gary Anderson 7-2, averaging 108.52 and hitting 6 maximums over those 9 legs.
