Grand Slam of Darts 2013 Day Three Free Darts Betting Tip

After two bumper sessions over the weekend, we’re back to just the evening sessions, but there’s still 8 matches tonight, and another 8 tomorrow night before we get into the knockout stages. Last night we saw what you could consider two shocks. Ted Hankey got the better of Dave Chisnall 5-3, and Ronny Huybrechts dispatched Adrian Lewis in a fantastic match. Tonight, it’s do or die for most of the players, not least Raymond van Barneveld, Mervyn King and Tony O’Shea. It’s going to make an exciting night of darts.

Grand Slam of Darts 2013 Day Two Free Darts Betting Tip

Day Two of the Grand Slam of Darts comes on the back of a hectic day of action. 16 matches in total yesterday, with a few shocks along the way. We have the in-form Kim Huybrechts losing convincingly to the woefully out-of-form Dean Winstanley, Dave Chisnall losing a classic to Michael Smith, and Mark Webster finding the form that’s deserted him for some time to beat Wes Newton. Today, another 16 matches with the Saturday’s winners facing off, and the losers of each group game taking to the stage, setting up important matches on Monday/Tuesday.

Grand Slam of Darts 2013 Day One Free Darts Betting Tip

It’s now time for perhaps the most fun tournament of the darting year, with the Grand Slam of Darts finally upon us. It’s the one time we get to see the BDO boys take on the PDC boys on TV, and it’s going to be an interesting tournament, with the form players of the BDO not around, namely Stephen Bunting. Bunting’s World Masters win, where he dropped a grand total of 0 sets in his triumph, would be enough to challenge the big guns of the PDC. Instead, it’s Scott Waites leading the BDO charge, with Richie George (if you’ve seen the footage of his World Masters exit, you’ll know what kind of form he’s in), Tony O’Shea, Wesley Harms and Christian Kist along for the ride. The usual suspects for the PDC are here, along with players we’re not seeing too often on the TV, including Ted Hankey and Dean Winstanley. We’ll get the theatrics of Ted, but this could be the last time we see The Count in a darting capacity on our screens, bar a minor miracle.

PDC World Grand Prix 2013 Day Six Premium Picks

PDC World Grand Prix 2013 Day Six Premium Picks. Another great night last night, let down by one, which was again Michael van Gerwen costing us, this time he couldn’t get the 180s we needed. Still, a good night with Justin Pipe getting the highest checkout covered early on in his convincing win over Andy … Read more

2013 World Grand Prix Day Seven Free Darts Betting Tip

So, Friday night had almost everything you could want in a night of darts, with excitement, drama and great darts, and Saturday might not have lived up to that, but it was still a great night. We saw the gulf in class between Phil Taylor and James Wade at this moment in time, and we also saw the potential Dave Chisnall has shown finally come to fruition. Wade has never really been races at the tournament, and succumbed easily to Taylor, and while Justin Pipe put up a fight, his finishing, which was impressive in the tournament until then, finally let him down, and Chisnall steamrolled him.

Tonight is the culmination in a tournament that has taken some time to get going, but from the quarter-finals onwards, we got fireworks. It’s a bit of a surprise final tonight, but I think the two most deserving players are here. No-one really troubled Taylor in his half of the draw, and Chisnall got into the groove more and more as the tournament went on, and his 10 180s against Justin Pipe summed up how his confidence has been growing. He’s got the toughest challenge in darts in front of him right now, but I think it’s going to be an exciting final.

I’ve also got a couple more tips for tonight’s final for our Premium Picks subscribers, so if you’d like access to them, you can sign up below.
