2013 World Grand Prix Day Three Free Darts Betting Tip

Night one had the drama, while last night we got some stellar performances. We saw Michael van Gerwen start his defence of his title off with a bang. And then there was Andy Hamilton who didn’t miss a double at the end of a leg, going 6/6, and only missing three to start a leg, going 8/11, which is an unbelievable statistic. We did get a shock in the form of Wayne Jones beating last year’s runner-up, Mervyn King, but Jones took his chances and King didn’t.

So there were 2-0 wins for Jones, Justin Pipe, Kevin Painter, Andy Hamilton, Raymond van Barneveld and Michael van Gerwen, while Dave Chisnall and Adrian Lewis came through in tight matches 2-1.

2013 World Grand Prix Day Two Free Darts Betting Tip

A great night of darts last night in Dublin, culminating with a huge win for Connie Finnan against the two-time finalist Terry Jenkins. There’s no denying that the Irish crowd is definitely a huge benefit for the home players, and Michael Mansell almost got an even bigger scalp, missing match darts against Simon Whitlock.

Wins for Ronnie Baxter, Wes Newton, Paul Nicholson, James Wade, Phil Taylor and Gary Anderson rounded off the night, with most of the big guns coming through unscathed.

2013 World Grand Prix Day One Free Darts Betting Tip

The Free Darts Betting Tip is back for the PDC World Grand Prix from Dublin, which gets underway tonight. The tournament has had its fair share of surprises over the years, most notably Brendan Dolan’s miraculous runs, thanks in no part to an extremely partisan crowd buoying his confidence.

Michael van Gerwen is the defending champion, after beating Mervyn King 6-4 last year in what kick-started Van Gerwen’s rise to greatness over the last 12 months. As is tradition with the World Grand Prix, players must start a leg with a double, and the first round is an exceptionally short format of best-of-three sets. So there’s a lot of action over the first two nights, which will all be covered by the Premium Picks.
