PDC 2013 World Championship Preview

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, yet again. Forget Christmas, the PDC World Championship is the best thing about December. The big names of darts head to the Ally Pally after Phil Taylor’s triumph at the Players Championship at the start of the month.

The PDC World Championship starts on Friday, which means there’s only a couple of days left to get the bets on the outright market, and usually there’s not much in the way of promotions that grab my attention, but Victor Chandler has a great offer on. If Phil Taylor wins the 2013 PDC World Championship, Victor Chandler will refund all bets on the outright market placed before the start of round two up to a maximum of £50.

So, keeping in mind that Phil Taylor is still the man to beat, as was evident at the Players Championship, it’s a great promotion that makes having a punt on the outright market a great opportunity for a nice score in the New Year.

Grand Slam of Darts 2012 Day Nine Free Betting Tip

It’s the final day of the 2012 Grand Slam of Darts, and it looks like we’ve seen the new heir apparent come to the fore. People had written off Michael van Gerwen as an also ran before the year starts, another wasted talent along the lines of Jelle Klassen. How wrong we all were. He’s made it to the semi-finals in scintillating fashion, eliminating the only two men to have won the Grand Slam of Darts title – Scott Waites and Phil Taylor. But alongside the young Dutchman, we’ve seen the resurgence of Raymond van Barneveld, the consistency of Andy Hamilton and the tenacity of Dean Winstanley. All four men are deserving of their place in the semi-finals and by the end of the final session tonight, one of them will be £100,000 better off.

The Premium Picks had a 2-1 night, and are now 30-21 with a profit of +23.75 units after eight days of the Grand Slam of Darts. The Free Darts Betting Tip was let down by Raymond van Barneveld and Christian Kist and is now 2-6. Suffice to say, the Premium Picks subscribers are in clover, and it’s definitely worthwhile signing up.

Grand Slam of Darts 2012 Day Eight Free Betting Tip

We’re into the final stages of the Grand Slam of Darts 2012 now, and we’ve got an interesting quarter-final line-up. We’ve got Dean Winstanley taking on Kevin Painter, John Part facing Andy Hamilton, Christian Kist versus Raymond van Barneveld and Scott Waites and Michael van Gerwen finish off the night in what’s sure to be a fantastic encounter.

Last night, Brendan Dolan didn’t get the job done for us against John Part, in a disapponting performance. Christian Kist and Andy Hamilton won tight matches against Wes Newton and Gary Anderson, while Raymond van Barneveld got comfortably past Wesley Harms in a disappointing night for the young Dutchman.

The free darts betting tip is now 2-5 with Brendan Dolan losing to John Part. The Premium Picks had a 3-1 night, and are now 28-19 with a profit of +23.15 units after six days of the Grand Slam of Darts.
