Grand Slam of Darts 2012 Day Four Free Betting Tip

Crazy night of darts last night, with three of the matches going all the way to a deciding leg. Mark Walsh emerged victorious over Wayne Jones, Christian Kist got past Raymond van Barneveld and Gary Anderson show real grit to beat Tony O’Shea – all three men avoiding defeat thanks to missed doubles by their opponents in the deciding leg. We also saw the implosion of the World Champion, Adrian Lewis. He hit 11% of doubles in his defeat to John Part. Wes Newton comfortably beat Wesley Harms, while Terry Jenkins brushed aside Martin Phillips. And we saw Andy Hamilton and Paul Nicholson destroy Brendan Dolan and Barrie Bates respectively. It was a real mixed bag of action.

Tonight we have a lot of variables in play, as there could be players eliminated before they even get onto the oche, and there’s the chance of a 3-way play-off, and so many other interesting scenarios that make the betting a bit precarious. Still, it’s got the ingredients for an exciting night, and if James Wade gets the right result against Mervyn King, and Arron Monk does the same against Jan Dekker, that’s when we’ll get out 3-way tie at the top. Then we’ve got players such as Steve Beaton that need to win 5-0 and then hope results go their way if they’re to stand a chance of going through. So much that won’t be decided until the final dart is thrown, and I can’t wait.

As usual, I’m running the Premium Tips service, which will provide you with betting tips for every day of the 2012 Grand Slam of Darts. The Premium Picks are now 14-11, with a profit of +8.05 units, and the Free Darts Betting Tip is now 1-2 after Tony O’Shea was unable to get over the finshing line against Gary Anderson.

Grand Slam of Darts 2012 Day Three Free Betting Tip

What a day of darts we had yesterday. There were shocks, outstanding performances and the obligatory Phil Taylor win. Tonight, we’ve only got the 8 matches, which is a shame. But we’ve got a couple off mouthwatering clashes, not least the all-Dutch encounter between Raymond van Barneveld and Christian Kist. These two superstars of Dutch darts have never faced off on the oche, and it’s a case of youth versus experience, which is the most intriguing game of the night. We also have Gary Anderson taking on Tony O’Shea in another match I can’t wait for. And then there’s Wes Newton taking on Wesley Harms in what could be another cracker. It’s fair to saw the end of the night is a bit more stacked than the start, but we still have the likes of John Part, Adrian Lewis, Andy Hamilton and Brendan Dolan, and we start with Mark Walsh taking on Wayne Jones.

Sunday’s results were interesting, with Tony O’Shea taking the scalp of Adrian Lewis, Ted Hankey showed he is actually capable of hitting the doubles, as is Dean Winstanley, and Christian Kist exploded onto Sky Sports was a phenomenal destruction of Wayne Jones with a 97.21 average. It was great for the game to have Kist put in that kind of performance, which came on the back of Wesley Harms putting in a 101.79 average in his 5-2 over Terry Jenkins. It was a great day for the BDO, and I don’t think anyone, not even the biggest PDC fan, would begrudge them their wins.

As usual, I’m running the Premium Tips service, which will provide you with betting tips for every day of the 2012 Grand Slam of Darts. The Premium Picks went 9-1 yesterday, taking them to 12-6, with a profit of +11.7 units, and the Free Darts Betting Tip is now 1-1 thanks to Christian Kist’s great performance.

The first night of the Grand Slam of Darts, and we we had a couple of shocks, with James Wade putting in a shocking performance against Arron Monk, and Mark Webster found some form, beating 2010 Grand Slam of Darts Champion Scott Waites. There were routine wins for Phil Taylor, Simon Whitlock, while Robert Thornton got the first whitewash of the tournament, beating Ted Hankey 5-0. Kevin Painter, Michael van Gerwen and Mervyn King also picked up wins in their first matches of this year’s GSOD.

Tonight we have two sessions, with last night’s winners facing off against each other in the evening, after Groups E-H get underway this afternoon.
