2012 PDC UK Open Day Two Free Darts Betting Tips

The first two (I guess it’s technically three) rounds of the 2012 UK Open are in the bag and we’ve had a few shocks and a few scares along the way. BDO veteran Tony West lost in his first appearance on a PDC stage, and Steve Beaton followed him out the door, before The Count stepped up to show them all how it was done with a tasty 4-0 win over Danny Dutson, putting us in a nice position after one day. So, although we went 1-1, the free tips are in profit to the tune of 3.5 units.

Of course, Ted Hankey failed to make it past Mervyn King, but he wasn’t the only one to fall. James Richardson was a relatively high-profile casualty, losing to Jim Walker. 2005 runner-up Mark Walsh couldn’t make it past Jason Crawley, while 2003 runner-up Shayne Burgess also got knocked out. Add in the scares James Wade, Mark Webster and Paul Nicholson had, and you can see it was a great night of darts action, as is always the case on the first night of the UK Open.

2012 PDC UK Open Day One Free Darts Betting Tips

After the fun and games of the Premier League, we’re back to ranking tournaments and it’s the one that seems to capture the imagination of all darts fans out there, but especially anyone that likes a bet on darts. With 4 different winners in 9 years and 9 different runners-up, the outright betting can pay huge dividend should you get your money on the right player. Of course, with a huge field, it’s tough to find the value, and I hate picking through the field trying to find the one I think could make a big impact. Could it be Dave Chisnall? He’s had a great year or so. How about Dean Winstanley, or “The Count” Ted Hankey? Both men have got through to the UK Open at the first time of asking since their switch from the BDO, so maybe they’re the ones to bet on. How about BDO stalwart Stephen Bunting, who got through the Rileys Qualifiers? Or 2003 runner-up Shayne Burgess? He came through the same route as Bunting, and maybe he’s in with a shot at at least reaching the final again. And then we have 32 Speedy qualifiers; maybe Darrin Pugh can put his defeat at the hands of Wayne Mardle last year behind him, cause upset after upset and win the whole thing at 1,000/1. If the draw goes the way of any of them, you never know what could happen at the PDC UK Open.

PDC 2012 Premier League Darts Play-Offs Free Betting Tip

This is it, the final night of Premier League Darts action for 2012, live from the O2 in London. Simon Whitlock starts the night off against Andy Hamilton, before James Wade takes on Phil Taylor. We then get Michael van Gerwen taking on James Hubbard in the Under-21 World Championship Final, before the final two in the 2012 Premier League take to the stage to decide this year’s winner. Phil Taylor is 2/5 to take this out, and it’s easy to see why after the season he’s had. Simon Whitlock is second favourite at 11/2, Wade is at 15/2 and Andy Hamilton is the rank outsider at a best price of 18/1.

Before we go any further, I want to remind you that Darts Betting tips now runs a Premium Picks service which runs along side the free Darts Betting Tips. This will be available for tonight’s action, as well as heading into the UK Open next month.

PDC 2012 Premier League Darts Week 14 (Newcastle) Free Betting Tip

The PDC Premier League closes out its league stage in the wonder, wonderful city of Newcastle. Hopefully we’ll not see any of the Geordie Shore idiots, and only some quality darts. There’s everything to play for, with 5 men fighting for 2 places in the Premier League play-offs. The biggest match of the night is the winner-takes-all match between James Wade and Raymond van Barneveld. There’s the dead rubber between Phil Taylor and Gary Anderson. But we have Adrian Lewis needing a win against Simon Whitlock to guarantee him a play-off berth, and Kevin Painter takes on Andy Hamilton with both men determined to win in the hopes of a play-off place, too. It’s perhaps the closes PDC Premier League darts season yet, and we’ve got 7 matches of it left.
