Welcome to the December 2015 Sporting Events Calendar.
In this article we cover all of the sporting events happening in December. We filter it by sport and then list the events.

Basketball:
The NBA will continue through December. They get a day off on Christmas Eve which is December 24th. Then a light schedule on December 25th with 5 games going from 12pm EST to 10:30pm EST. Always a great way to spend Christmas!
Boxing:
Here’s what is happening on boxing in December:
December 5th: Hernandez Harrison vs Steve Claggett
December 5th: Peter Quillin vs Daniel Jacobs
December 11th: Noruito Donaire vs Cesar Juarez
December 12th: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte. Chris Eubank Jr. is also fighting on the card.
December 12th: Patrick Nielsen vs Rudy Markussen.
December 12th: Antonio DeMarco vs Omar Figueroa.
December 12th: Jose Benavidez vs Sidney Siqueira.
December 18th: Rances Barthelemy vs Denis Shafikov
December 19th: Robert Helenius vs Erkan Teper
December 19th: Andy Lee vs Billy Joe Saunders
December 19th: Bryant Jennings vs Luis Ortiz
December 29th: Maoya Inoue vs Warlito Parrenas
Cricket:
The South Africa vs England First Test begins December 26th.
Football:
The NFL continues in December with the crucial closing weeks. Week 16 will take place December 24th-December 28th.
Note there is a special Boxing Day match featuring the Washington Redskins vs the Philadelphia Eagles.
Golf:
Golf is generally off for the season but there is the World Challenge on the PGA Tour Schedule. The European Tour has the Australian PGA Championship and Nedbank Golf Challenge. Both of those take place December 3rd through December 6th, 2015.
The LPGA and Champions Tours won’t be back until late January.
Hockey:
The NHL continues through December. They take a few off days on December 23rd, December 24th and December 25th with NO NHL Action on those days. They’ll be back with a bang on December 26th.
The World Junior Ice Hockey Championships begin on December 26th and continue through until January 5th, 2016.
Horse Racing:
Most notable race is the King George VI Chase in Kempton on December 26th.
Mixed Martial Arts:
December 4th: Bellator 147: Thomson vs Villaseca
December 5th: ONE Championship 33
December 10th: UFC Fight Night – Namajunas vs VanZant
December 11th: ONE Championship 34
December 11th: TUF Finale: Faber vs McGregor Teams
December 12th: UFC 194: Aldo vs McGregor.
December 18th: WSOF 26: Palmer vs Almeida
December 19th: UFC On Fox: Cerrone vs Dos Anjos II.
Motor Sports:
There are no Formula 1 or NASCAR races in December.
Soccer:
Just the usual where soccer is concerned. The UEFA Champions League final group games take place December 8th & 9th. UEFA Europa League takes place on Thursday, December 10th.
December 12th is when the draw for Euro 2016 is.
Tennis:
The Wheelchair Masters take place in London beginning December 2nd.
Wrestling:
WWE has TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs on December 13th, 2015. The main event is Sheamus vs Roman Reigns.
