The sports are going down in July! We will see a Stanley Cup and NBA champion crowned this month after a long and grueling season for both leagues. Whoever wins it this season definitely deserves it as those teams have been through so much.

What I’m really excited about this month is what I considered to be the best tournament in golf: The Open Championship. This year’s tournament will take place at Royal St George’s in Sandwich, Kent, England. This is The Open’s first time back here since 2011 when Darren Clarke dominated the field. A big month for the Champions Tour as well with both the Senior U.S. Open and Senior Open Championship.

The 4th of July will be great for auto racing with both an F1 race and a NASCAR race. When it’s hot outside, it can be a lot of fun to sit in the air conditioning and watch some cars drive impossibly fast.

One of the biggest events of this month has to be Conor McGregor’s return to the ring for UFC 264. This will be his first fight since January, a loss to Poirier, and his third match with Poirier overall.
