I have to admit, there is tremendous value on betting England to win this game.
I’m Scottish. I’m not a fan of England, and I didn’t rate them at all going into this tournament. However they have surprised me. They defended extremely well against France, and had the resolve to come back when being 2-1 down to Sweden. That right there is enough for me – but the return of their star player, Wayne Rooney, from suspension, is enough for me to highly recommend betting England to win, as my main England vs Ukraine Betting Pick.
Ukraine are overrated by the bookies. If it wasn’t for Shevchenko they would’ve lost to Sweden. He managed to pull the bunny out of the hat on that occassion – but that was against a Sweden defense that was perfect for the likes of Shevchenko to exploit.
That’s not going to happen against England.
England are a fantastic bet here. The half-time/full-time of England-England at 5/2 is a good example of that – but I wouldn’t be betting that. We’re getting great odds of 6/5 on just an England win, and we’re getting that
I can see this being a tight affair. England can go 1-0 up and then relax and sit in – which they did so well with against France. Based on that, I really like the Scorecast of Wayne Rooney to score first and England to win 1-0. 22/1 odds – can’t beat that.
