Group B in Euro 2016 features England, Russia, Slovakia and Wales.
England had the best qualifying campaign, with 10 wins out of 10 matches. While you could argue a lot of their opposition was weak, they still had a lot of very convincing results with a lot of goals scored. England averaged more than 3 goals per game, conceded just 3 in 10 games and have to be considered one of the favourites for the tournament.
Russia had a more difficult group in qualifying, but managed to take 2nd place in Group G over Sweden. They lost twice to Group winners Austria in tight 1-0 games, and drew against Sweden and embarassingly enough, Moldova. Russia are a team who if they play well can be a contender – but we’ve seen time and time again they don’t seem to play with the urgency required.
Slovakia are next in Group B. They’re making their debut at the Euros after a solid 7-1-2 record in qualification. What’s notable is they actually beat Spain 2-1 and were the only team to beat Spain. Slovakia have to be considered a wild card with a lot of dangerous possibilities.
Finally we have Wales, with Gareth Bale the obvious start of the team. They came runners up in Group B ousting out Bosnia and Herzegovina for that spot.

At that price, England are an absolute steal.
I mean look at the biggest question in the England camp at the moment: which of our on-form, great strikers do we unleash at the Euros? And you know what? It almost doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter who England play up front because they have so many tremendous goalscorers. That’s one thing we found tough with the Top Team Goalscorers – because they have so much bloody potential there.
England dominated their group stage and even over a Switzerland team that many are expecting big things of. In friendlies they’ve looked fired up with results over the likes of France and Germany. Every single player on their squad knows their place is up for grabs and they’re going to be playing that way. Russia, the next contenders, in my opinion aren’t even as good as Switzerland and their losses against Austria make me think England will sweep this group.

I have to admit – I’m going to be placing a small bet on Slovakia here.
Russia and Wales – their prices just aren’t appealing at those odds. But I think Slovakia can knock points off Russia and Wales.
I’m also going to be betting Russia do not qualify at 2/1 odds. Just a small bet on them but I am just not convinced by this Russia team. Putin will probably have them all shot afterwards.
