A nice week last week with a win, and a second place.
If you’ve been following the tips the last couple of weeks we’ve had some brutal Sundays. We went into the final rounds in a couple of tournaments looking like we were going to get a big price e/w cash or a winner, only to be crushed.
The PGA tour looked similar last week. Our 28/1 pick Aaron Baddeley was leading and looking good for the win then he crashed all the way to 7th or 8th. Luckily he was able to pick himself up, get his second place and that E/W cash.
Amy Yang was our hero this week in the LPGA. I haven’t been handicapping the LPGA a lot lately due to it being at new courses that I wasn’t too familiar with. They played at a course last week that they often play it and I was able to correctly predict the winner there which was nice. Brooke almost got us an E/W cash too!
Here’s the betting slips from a solid week:
Let’s get into this weeks tips and hope the winnings continue. Good week last week and nice to see a solid performance from Rory, whose putting seems to be vastly improving. Hope that continues.
Honda Classic 2019 Betting Tips:
Lucas Glover: 60/1. For the metrics required for this tournament, Glover comes up on almost every list. His best finish here was 4th place in 2013 but that’s actually before the chages to this course. He’s still did okay here the last couple of years but nothing special. With how many times he comes up on my simulations I’ve got to back him but we’ll go with 1/4 to win & E/W. If he could improve the putting that would be nice.
Gary Woodland: 16/1. Don’t love his odds at all to be honest. I think he’s a viable bet and he has had some excellent performances this year. He’s also got a 2nd place here before. The e/w prices aren’t tempting enough for me so I’m going to go with 1/8u to win.
An Byeong-Hun: 45/1. Solid finish here last year with 5th place. Hasn’t really performed well going into this one but this is a course that requires driving distance and he excels at that. 1/4u to win & E/W.
Luke List: 40/1. Another great driver of the ball. He’s been inconsistent this year and is probably a bit higher priced than normal due to his finish last year. He did come 10th here previously too. One of those coin tosses that I’ve got to take for a small amoutn. 1/8u to win & E/W.
Oman Open 2019 Betting Tips:
Just 4 small 1/8u plays to win & E/W. Looking at the stats the only thing that really jumps out to me is putting. If you’re looking for a winner I like Thomas Pieters but not at 11/1.
Min Woo Lee: 35/1
Victor Perez: 55/1
Scott Vincent: 66/1
Victor Dubuisson: 50/1
HSBC Women’s World Championship:
Brooke Henderson: 11/1 to win.. Seems like any day now Brooke is going to take one. 1/4u on Brooke. I would bet 1/2 on this one except both Nelly and Ariya are strong competitors here. This is going to be a hell of a tournament and the one I am most interested in this weekend.
