This virus is the best thing ever!
Okay it’s not. Not at all lol. But holy shit – I’ve never enjoyed tipping football as much as I have this past month.
No personal bias. No thoughts or opinions entering my head. Just pure stats based betting tips.
And I’m killing it!
We went 2-0 yesterday in the Belarus Premier League. That’s a league that a few weeks ago I’d struggle to name more than two teams. “There’s BATE Borisov and uh…a Minsk team”.
We had Dinamo Minsk to get the win over Smolevichi and they won 3-1. We also took Neman at 2.50 odds to get the win over Energetik and that was a super easy one as they won 3-0.
Love it.
Of course not getting ahead of myself – variance is variance etc and it can be hard doing stats based picks on a league that the world is watching, and the sportsbooks are going to be focusing on more than normal. But hey it feels good to get a couple of wins especially on the back of the metrics.
We’ve got two games on the board today underway. In the Slavia vs Mozyr game we have BTTS and as I’m typing this, FC Minsk just scored. Come on Slavia get that goal! They’re dominating possession so hopefully it works out.
Although due to the fact that I am celebrating yesterdays wins I’ll probably go 0-2 today. Such is gambling.
What’s neat is I am learning a lot about the teams too. I always enjoy that.
Great time to be a football fan with all that going on, and I am still hooked on Football Manager 2020. Managing Coventry and won Sky Bet League One in the first season (we weren’t even expected to get promoted). In the Championship where I’m expected to battle bravely against relegation, and have us 3rd at Christmas!
Alright let’s see what we have for Sunday, April 26th:
FC Slutsk vs Belshina Bobruisk Betting Tips:
Slutsk. Heh.
Surprising odds for this one as the Slutsk are 1.75 favourites which is a decent price considering their start to the season.
They haven’t been super good at home with a win, a draw and a loss but they have two fighting away wins in there and find themselves top, while Belshina, their opponents, are bottom.
Belshina lost their first three games however manage to rack up two 1-1 draws. Their problem however is they are seriously struggling to score. Slutsk failed to score against Dinamo Brest and only got one against FC Vitebsk but in the other games have been doign the business. Both those teams have been solid enough defensively so far this season.
I’m surprised at the odds and wonder if it is reflective of last season where Slutsk finished 11th. However Belshina are just a newly promoted team.
Not really getting these odds. I may be missing something but happy to back FC Slutsk here and not just because of their name.
