Welcome to the sports betting tips for February 27th, 2019.
Like I do every Wednesday, I’ll be covering this weeks golf action. I’ve also got a couple of NBA and NHL bets for you as well.
First of all I hope y’all followed me on last weeks golf tips because we had one outright winner, and an each way winner.
Our winner was with Amy Yang in the Honda LPGA Thailand. That was a freaking intense one and Yang managed to pull it out at the death which was nice. Thought she had blown it.
Speaking of blowing it – Aaron Baddeley on the PGA Tour in Puerto Rico. Whew was that a close one. He went into the final round in the lead, dropped all the way to 7th then came back and got 2nd and the Top 5 cash. That was CLOSE.

Golf Bets: February 27th, 2019
In the Honda Classic 2019 I’m going with four bets.
This is a tough tournament and driving distance appears to be one of the biggest factors in regard to who can contend.
I’m going with the 16/1 Gary Woodland. This one I am betting to win. Just a small bet on him however as I consider it quite a weak price. But he has performed well here, suits this course and I think he might just surprise in a weak field.
I’ve then got three to win and top 5 bets. I’m on Lucas Glover at 60/1, An Byeong-Hun at 45/1 and Luke List at 40/1. Driving is the big one for all three and the metrics I consider for this course they all stand out on.
If Glover gets his putting down – man, that’d be something.
The Oman Open is a tricky one to handicap and I’ve went with four golfers based primarily on putting. All are to win and Top 5. They are Min Woo Lee, Victor Perez, Victor Dubuisson and Scott Vincent.
Finally over on the LPGA Tour at the HSBC Women’s World Championship it is fairly stacked at the top but I am backing Brooke Henderson to win. Honestly I coudl see Nelly or Ariya taking it and all 3 of them are strong contenders. This is the tournament to watch this week. It’s going to be a battle.
NHL Bets: February 27th, 2019
Just the one bet on the NHL which is Blackhawks vs Ducks Over 6 Goals. If you follow hockey you know there is no need for an explanation in regard to this one on the Blackhawks side.
Ducks might concern you a bit but don’t let it – this team racks up the chances with a very high corsi for lately. They should get the goals against the Hawks.
NBA Bets: February 27th, 2019
Two picks today.
Warriors to cover the spread. Heat are an injury ravaged mess and the Warriors should crush them. Complacency is always a concern with the Warriors but they did that a couple weeks ago againset Miami and almost lost the game. That’ll keep ’em focused.
Also Timberwolves -4.5. Love what I am seeing from this team post all star break and they look like they are having fun out there. Team chemistry is strong and they are cohesive and should take it with Karl-Anthony Towns in particular looking hungry.
