Hi everyone,
We had two cashes last week in the Wyndham Championship, with the 20/1 Russell Henley and 80/1 Webb Simpson making it in the Top 5. Webb was tied with Kim so that brought the winnings down slightly.
Worked out to about 1.07u profit for the week.
My two other picks, Cameron Davis and J.T. Poston, came tied for 7th, one stroke out of the E/W cash. Pretty damn impressive week I have to sy.
Frustratingly, the 80/1 Lucas Glover, who won the tournament, came 2nd in the metrics for me in both the SG & Non-SG. There were reasons not to back him and I’ve just got to look a the positive – that the system actually was able to put him up that high. Always interesting looking back at that sort of thing.
Let’s see what we’ve got this week:
Fedex St Jude Championship 2023 Betting Tips:
That’s a bit of a mouthful. GIR and scrambling along with putts per GIR are key metrics here.
By the metrics, Scottie is the man to take this. However his lack of wins lately is a concern, as is his history at this course. If you’re looking to bet him to win I wouldn’t fault you. At the odds, I just can’t take it in good conscience.
1/4u on Collin Morikawa E/W @ 22/1
He has been a bit up and down lately but has performed well here. His performance at the Rocket Mortgage was exceptional, and I am hoping he can channel that energy here. He had a great performance last year as well so we know he can handle this course.
1/4u on Tony Finau Top 10 Finish @ 11/4
He’s wanting on that Ryder Cup team so a good performance here would help that. After a couple of missed cuts, he logged a 7th place last time we saw him and also managed to finish 5th here last year.
I’m not sure he can win the tournament, as tempting as the 33/1 is but I think he should be able to make the top 10. He’s shown he can handle the Bermudagrass.
For my third and final pick, I was debating Tommy Fleetwood. But I’m instead going to go with…..a pick only available on our Patreon.
