A night of few shocks last night at the UK Open. The 2011 champion, James Wade, made an early exit from the tournament, after playing some shocking darts against Colin Lloyd. However, we did see Gary Anderson fire in a 9-darter, Mark Barilli blow a 7-1 to Brendan Dolan, and Roland Scholten prove the naysayers wrong, with a great performance against Phil Taylor.
Last night’s free tip was a winner, with Robert Thornton doing the business for us, taking us to +6.25 units. Mark Webster was never really at the races, and he’ll be going back to the practice board to try and get his game back to where it should be.
