This week the European Tour has the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, and that’s what we will be providing betting tips for this week.
If you’re looking for CareerBuilder Challenge Betting Tips – unfortunately we won’t be providing them this week. We can’t use course form for that one.
We also won’t be providing Mitsubishi Electric Championship Betting Tips either this week unfortunately. We want to wait and see what the break does in regards to the Champions Tour and the golfers on it before we provide any betting tips for it.
Last years Abu Dhabi Championship saw Martin Kaymer, trading at 1.01 going into the final round, end up coming in 3rd after dropping 10 strokes. It was amazing to watch and hopefully he doesn’t go through that again this year – especially with us tipping him!

Abu Dhabi Betting Tip #1: Martin Kaymer
With both Rory and Spieth participating this week the odds of everyone else are pushed down drastically and that’s where Kaymer comes in.
Kaymers history here is incredible with 3 victories at this course and really it should be 4. I know there’s a history of golfers having a collapse at a course like Kaymer did last year and then having a disaster the next time around – but we’re going to play that risk this week.
Kaymer hasn’t played in awhile so you might think he’d be rusty but his history at this course is just too much to ignore. He’s going to want to make amends for last year and he honestly showed last year that when it comes to this course – he’s leaps and bounds above everyone else.
The real question is what do we bet? Let’s look at the 4 contenders above him based on the betting odds.
Rory McIlroy has a fantastic history here although always the bridesmaid, never the bride. But we know he is going to be among the top guys. Spieth is coming off his win but interestingly has never played on this course before. While with Spieth that shouldn’t be an issue – it does add a sort of wildcard to it.
Fowler played here last year and didn’t look impressive at all. Stenson has had mixed results but with his form at the moment he could be a contender.
We recommend a bet of Martin Kaymer to win – E/W. That way if he gets in the top 5, we also cash. Because after looking at it all – we think Kaymer has the ability to win it.
