What a game that Manchester City vs Leicester game was.
And what a classic goal by Kompany.
Things like that are what makes a team champions. I think my heart has always been with Liverpool taking it but after seeing that performance I’m fine with City. I just love when someone steps up like that.
By the way – hope you all followed the Serie A tips on May 5th! Went a whopping 3-0 there.
We had Empoli to win at 2.50 odds and they did that with a tight 1-0 win over Fiorentina. We had Atalanta or Draw against Lazio. I chickened out of the Atalanta to win bet but should have stuck with my guns as they went 3-1. And finally BTTS in Napoli vs Cagliari. Napoli won 2-1 there with a 98th minute penalty.
For Wednesday, May 8th we’ll cover the 2nd leg of Ajax vs Tottenham. I’ve already tipped Ajax to qualify in this one so let’s see how it goes.
Ajax vs Tottenham Betting Tips:
Ajax came to England and pulled off a big 1-0 win off a 15th minute Donny van de Beek goal.
Spurs were lucky to be honest that it wasn’t more. Ajax had some great chances and while Spurs came out looking a bit better in the 2nd half – man, that David Neres shot off the post. That should have been 2-0 right there.
Spurs away record in Europe hasn’t been good this season. They did manage to get that 1-0 win over Dortmund but they had the 3-0 lead to protect. Lot easier job that against a taem who is desperate.
They drew with Barcelona and PSV, while lost to Inter Milan and of course Manchester City.
Ajax haven’t been perfect at home but they’ve had solid results. They held Munich and Juventus to draws, whils losing 2-1 to Real Madrid. Amazingly they seem to perform better away at times than at home.
They’re killing it domestically while Spurs are really struggling to put in the goals at the moment. Just 1 goal in 4 games in the league which is just brutal and Spurs are seriously missing Harry Kane.
Ajax meanwhile just won the KNVB Cup with the goals from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and come in feeling confident no doubt.
Tottenham see the return of Heung-min Son who will want to put in a big effort after getting set off against Bournemouth.
Tottenham just look tired and this is going to be an interesting one. They just can’t score which is a struggle and Ajax can pick away at them.
I already have my Ajax to qualify bet, but I’m fine with a small bet on Ajax to win here. I don’t think they’ll play for the draw knowing that one away goal is a tiny margin and anything can happen.
