If you ever wondered “When does a win feel like a loss” – well, you found that out at the Shriners Hospital for Children Open last week.
We had Matthew Wolff who came 2nd, with a -3 on the final day.
He came 4 strokes behind Sungjae-Im, who had an insane -9 day.
Tough one. Just so many of those this season that are so frustrating.
Here’s the betting slip:
Let’s get onto this week. That’s two cash weeks in a row both E/W c’mon give us a winner.
Andalucia Masters Betting Tips:
Richard Bland 40/1 E/W – $50
On paper he should perform well here. Hasn’t really historically but worth a play. Looking at the different odds on him I probably wouldn’t go below 35/1.
There are actually a lot of other potential contenders here but I am not backing fully for a variety of reasons. A lot of it is course form. If you want to look at others – Santiago Tarrio Ben, Marcel Siem, Aaron Rai and Andrew Johnston.
Those are ones I am just going to chuck $15 on all four to win E/W. Your call if you want to bet them or not. To me I’m fine with the risk/variance but you may not be, and may just want the more confident picks such as Bland.
Nothing for CJ Cup. Analyzed the course and just don’t feel comfortable.
