Some interesting results in the EPL in mid-week.

Was very surprised that Arsenal lost to Wolves. Arsenal seem to be slumping a bit at the moment and that’s a tough time for them to do so.

Man City beat Man Utd 2-0 and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has some real issues he needs to sort.

Spurs got that key win over Brighton with that goal from Christian Eriksen in the 88th minute. That was a much deserved win.

Now we’ll turn our attention to Saturdays action. A lot of the key games are on Sunday but honestly I don’t like any of those from a betting tips perspective. I could see Man Utd turning it around against Chelsea and putting a few past them. City should thump Burnley but we’ll see. Liverpool of course play on Friday and are 1/14 odds against Huddersfield ha.

Tottenham vs West Ham Betting Tips:

We won with Tottenham to win to nil in midweek and I’m going to go right back to that one.

The odds are rightly a bit higher – it was 2.00 vs Brighton and 2.60 vs West Ham – but I like the way Spurs are holding teams and not letting them get shots on target.

The big issue of course is Spurs have that European game next week which is why we’ll do a small bet. We could see players like Danny Rose be rested although with Heung-min Son not able to play in Europe this time around, he’ll be a full participant no doubt.

Javier Hernandez is expected to return for West Ham.

Spurs have did the job defensively lately at home and I like that to continue. It’s a fortress and West Ham struggle to score away.

Fulham vs Cardiff Betting Tips:

Fulham are coming into this one after two wins in a row. I saw a tweet that said they are like the loose horse at the Grand National – ruining everyone elses season, and that pretty much sums it up.

Can they ruin Cardiffs season with a win here?

The way I like to look at games like this is all the pressure is on Cardiff and not on me if I am backing them – if they want to stay in the English Premier League, they win games like this full stop.

They’ve shown they are a better team than Fulham over the course of the season. They got that big away win over Brighton and I’ve got to think they are able to keep it going here.

Fulham are playing without pressure which is always dangerous and Cardiff have struggled away lately but I think Cardiff know this is a crucial one and they absolutely 100% need a win here or they don’t deserve to remain in the English Premier League.

Tom Cairney will be returning for Fulham. Cardiff are possibly without Joe Ralls. Harry Arter it is unknown if he will feature yet. We might even see Leandro Bacuna start!
