The Bucks and Sixers not only went over the posted total, but absolutely blew it away. The total was set at 230.5 and they ended up scoring a combined for 250. The Bucks especially exploded with a 46 point (!) fourth quarter. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 45 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists. Joel Embiid was just as impressive with a 34-13-13 game. I really hope we see these two teams in the playoffs.
The win allowed the Bucks to clinch the best record in the NBA and home court advantage throughout the playoffs. That is huge for them and it’s great to see them do it without Eric Bledsoe who was ejected just minutes into the game. Reminder: anyone who thinks the Bucks could lose in the first round is an idiot. The Bucks, Raptors and Sixers are all winning those series easily.
The season ends on the 10th. A lot has been decided, but there are still spots up for grabs as well as draft seeding stuff that can’t be ignored. We have to be careful this next week of games when picking. You never really know who cares down the stretch. Sad thing to say, but it’s true.
San Antonio Spurs vs. Washington Wizards Betting Tips:
The Spurs are in the eighth seed in the Western Conference right now, but they could still move up. They are just a half game behind the Thunder for the 7th seed and the difference between the Warriors and the Nuggets in the first round is huge. They have to want that 7th seed.
There’s no reason to think they can’t beat the Wizards here. Bradley Beal should be seeing less minutes and the team doesn’t exactly play great defense as it is. The Spurs should be able to score at will here and win this one easily. Honestly, I’m surprised this line isn’t double digits.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Orlando Magic Betting Tips:
The Hawks need to stop. They are 5-5 over their past ten and have been playing well. Trae Young is really balling and this team looks to have a bright future, but they need to stop winning.
Why? They can’t lose that Mavericks pick. If the Mavericks finish within the top five or hit the lottery jackpot, they keep this year’s pick and would then convey their 2020 first-round pick to the Hawks.
The Mavericks are expected to be much better next year with money to spend this offseason so they definitely don’t want that to happen. Atlanta still has a two-game lead on the Mavs for the fifth worst record, but they can’t keep winning. They need to lock this thing up, they need to lose.
For Orlando, this game is huge. They have a half game lead over the Heat for the 8th seed and they really don’t want to lose that. This team hasn’t made the playoffs in forever and they want that. I expect them to show and I expect the Hawks to conveniently rest some people at key times.
