A 2-1 weekend with the soccer tips.
On Saturday in the English Premier League we had Burnley to beat Cardiff. They did it with a 2-0 victory. Wood scored in the 31st minute then again in injury time. A close game but glad we got the win.
We went 1-1 in the Serie A. In the big game Sampdoria beat Genoa 2-0. I said I’d be surprised if Quagliarella didn’t get on the scoresheet and he did with a penalty in the 53rd minute.
In a rather feisty affair we lost our bet with Torino – although I cashed out on that one. They were up 1-0 after the 53erd minute but the goalscorer got sent off. I inst cashed out there and it felt good as even though I gave up winnings, Cagliari scored 5 minutes later and got the draw.
Now we’ll analyze the games taking place on Monday, April 15th:
Atalanta vs Empoli Betting Tips:
Atalanta have had quite a solid season and currently sit 6th in Serie A. With a win over Empoli they can leap above Roma and tie with AC Milan on points.
Empoli are battling relegation and haven’t been too shabby lately. They have the worst away record in the league but we’ve seen three close games where they lost to Udiense, Juventus and Roma.
At home they have managed to get big wins over Napoli and Frosinone. Note that Napoli have the 2nd best away record in the table behind you know who so that is bloody impressive.
Atalanta are on a tear and playing some nice offensive football which I like to see. They’re not going up 1-0 then protecting a lead – they keep on pushing. I like that. But they concede too.
Empoli don’t have the greatest offensive record but they have been scoring lately and are pushing to get out of the relegation zone. I think they can get a goal here.

Unfortunately that’s it for me for April 15th. I had a quick look at the other leagues and looked at stats but nothing really jumped out. Plus man I’ve had a long day ha. Was up till 2am watching UFC – great show. Then bed for 5 hours only to get up to watch The Masters and the EPL.
Then off to a bar to watch the back 9 of The Masters and had quite a few beers.
Now I’m doing these tips while watching NBA and NHL.
Time for me to go zone out on the couch and watch these. Nice thing is I have a big bet on the Bucks to win the Championship at +1000 and that one looks good to at least be a contender.
