Hopefully everyone is excited at the return of the English Premier League with it all kicking off tomorrow.

I’ve got a futures bet of Man Utd to win the league. One of the biggest bets I’ve ever made actually – and it’s purely because of Jose Mourinho. Maybe it’s due to growing up with Championship Manager but there’s something I love about a manager who can actually change things. While I’m not a fan of Man United, I’ll be cheering them on like crazy this season.

Of course Man Utd don’t play until Sunday when they play on the road against Bournemouth. Should be a good one. A lot of other EPL action takes place tomorrow however and we’re going to focus on that today.

English Premier League Betting Tips:

Right off the bat I’m backing Leicester to beat Hull at 10/11 which is an incredible price. You’ve got the English Premier League Champions taking on a team who are in a mess at the moment. Every member of Leicester is fit and the only person they’re missing is Robert Huth. Hull only have 13 actual players available that are seniors – insane. Plus they’re promoted, plus they have a caretaker manager. If Leicester don’t win so be it – but man I think this is just a gift from the bookies here that we have to take.

I like Southampton to beat Watford. They have a few injury struggles but I’ve always been a fan of Claude Puel. The big question is whether or not Soton can fit into his system well enough. It looks like he’s going to go with a diamond formation and it can take time. Watford had a bad road record last season and I think Southampton will be able to break Watford down. I’d expect Watford to be defensive here but if they go with the 3-5-2 we saw in pre-season then that could work out really well for Southampton.

English Championship Betting Tips:

Ross McCormack will make his debut and with the likes of Gollini, Tshibola and Elphick in the team I like Aston Villa to get the win here. They’ve had a couple of bad results to start the season but they’ve rang in some quick changes, Rotherham have looked shaky to start the season with a poor defense and I think this is going to be a massive game for Villa – one they will win comfortably. I love the 3/4 price.

Scottish Premiership Betting Tips:

I’m a Rangers fan, but one thing that has stunned me is how over-priced we are this season. Maybe it’s because I live outside of Scotland and thus outside of the bubble – but bookies are treating us like we’re the Rangers of old.

Last week I made money on Hamilton or draw and until the bookies wisen up I’m going to stick with that. The Rangers defense is shaky, Waghorn is out and yet we’re on the road and overpriced. Honestly until you see the bookies price us different – or we actually prove ourselves – look to bet against Rangers the majority of the time. Dundee or Draw.
