A 1-2 record last night.
After profiting multiple times this season going against Johnny Cueto and the Giants, they finally came through with one. He had a huge strikeout night and the Giants offense was all over Patrick Sandoval as they tagged him for five runs in four innings.
We took the under with the Brewers/Twins game as we thought Rich Hill might be up to snuff, but he struggled coming off the injured listed as he allowed four runs in just 2.2 innings of work. That put us at a deficit and then all the sudden it was 8-1 after five innings. Where this loss really hurt though was in the ninth inning. We had the under at 9 runs so it was a push heading into the final frame. Then the Brewers scored one and the Twins scored two in the final frame. How rude.
We did manage to get the win with the Mets -1.5 over the Marlins. This one was not without drama as the Mets blew a great Jacob deGrom start and the game was tied heading into the ninth. Michael Conforto managed to save the day with a two-run homer in the top of the ninth and then Edwin Diaz finished it out by striking out the side.
A lot of early games today, but we have a couple of tips on the night cap.

Milwaukee Brewers at Minnesota Twins Betting Tips:
Brewers: Brandon Woodruff 3.62 ERA/3.01 FIP (2019)
Twins: Jose Berrios 3.68 ERA/3.85 FIP (2019)
Berrios has had a couple of bad starts in the walk department and he’s due to get it back on track here. The Brewers should definitely give him some help in the strikeout department. Their 26.6% K-rate is 4th in the league.
Woodruff is the best of the Brewers staff and I expect him to be solid here tonight. He has a 10.52 K/9 rate on the year and a solid groundball rate. He can take the power out of this Twins lineup.
I hate to go to this well again after last night, but it’s worth it. All the things I said about these offenses and bullpens yesterday is still true today, only tonight the starting pitching is much better on both sides.
Bet Twins/Brewers Under 8.5 Runs
Los Angeles Dodgers at Seattle Mariners Betting Tips:
Dodgers: Clayton Kershaw 3.03 ERA/3.86 FIP (2019)
Mariners: Yusei Kikuchi 5.46 ERA/5.71 FIP (2019)
This line is a little pricier than I’d like, but I absolutely love Kershaw against this Mariners offense today. The Mariners have just a 65 wRC+ against lefties this season which is just as awful as it looks. Kershaw has had some bad HR/FB luck, but he’s been his usual self thus far this season. This is an absolutely great match-up to grab him.
Kikuchi has been much better than his 2019 stats this year, but he’s also backed up by one of the worst bullpens in the league. Either the Dodgers hit him or they hit the bullpen. Either way, they are going to hit.
