With a full baseball card today, we’re going to be looking at the Mets vs Nationals as we think there’s a nice value bet in that game.
5 WNBA games are on the cards, and we will be looking at the WNBA and providing a WNBA Betting Tip for everyone there.
Finally we’re traveling to Scotland, for the first game of the season for Glasgow Rangers and Hibs. The two meet up in the Scottish Challenge Cup, and we feel there is a massive mistake with the odds there – one that we are of course going to take advantage of.
MLB Betting Tips: Mets vs Nationals
The Mets are heading to Washington, with one thing on their mind: hurting the Nationals division lead. Washington are the current favourites for the NL Pennat not surprisingly – but they’ve been a bit sloppy as of late, including a nasty 7-3 loss to Balitmore yesterday.
They’ve picked up Cabrera which should be interesting of course – but it may take some time for these changes to take effect.
We like the Mets, lead by Zack Wheeler, to pick up the upset win tonight. Wheeler has been up and down, but we think he is going to bring it here and do a good job against the National.
Gonzalez hasn’t been impressing us that much either lately.
Soccer Betting Tips: Rangers vs Hibs
This is the first game of the Scottish season, after the pre-season has been wrapped up. Glasgow Rangers will take on Hibernian. Rangers were just promoted from the 2nd division, while Hibs went down last season from the SPL.
The odds for this one are crazy. There’s a lot of hype for Rangers yet McCoist still hasn’t proven himself on the tactical front. Just the opposite, if anything. Plus with some new players in, including an entirely new strikeforce it’s going to be hard for them to hit the ground running.
Rangers are 2/7 to qualify which is just horrible value. I almost fancy Hibs here at 11/2 odds – what a price that is. But instead I’m going to play it safe with Draw or Hibernian. We think that is the best approach to make. It means that at the end of 90 minutes, as long as Rangers aren’t leading, we’ve won the bet.
WNBA Betting Tips: Mystics vs Liberty
Surprising point spread on this one – the Washington Mystics are only -3.5 favourites. I’d expect at least -6 or higher. Our WNBA expert agrees – he feels the Mystics are going to bounce back and have a big run. They’re going into this one with 2 losses.
In the last two meetings between the teams, the Liberty have actually ran out winners 81-64 and 80-76. Liberty are coming off the big win over the Dream.
However with Tayler Hill starting, we expect that to be a big momentum changer for the Mystics.
It should be a close game, but that’s who we are going with.
