Sorry for no tips the last two days. I had mentioned that I was away for the weekend and I ended up being out late the Saturday night. Woke up Sunday late and didn’t have the chance to do tips.
Then on Monday I was swamped with work and the day went super fast – before I knew it it was 6pm and I had to get off the computer for the night.
Oh well nice to take a break after losing 1.5u over the last couple of days ha. Took a chance with Botafogo to win even though I admitted the safer bet was Botafogo or Draw and sure enough they drew 0-0. Hopefully some of you took the safe option there.
We then had Sao Paulo -1 over Vasco da Gama and unfortunately Sao Paulo only won 2-1. Finally in a bottom of the table clash we had Parana to beat Ceara. Parana had 21 shots to Cearas 5, with 7 on target to Cearas 1, 67% possession and almost double the passes and the end result? Parana lost 1-0. Welp. It happens.
Domestic wise there’s really not too much going on for the 8th of August. There are still leagues where I need more data on before making picks but for now let’s go with the following:
Finnish Kakkonen Group A Betting Tips: MiKP vs MyPa
This is an interesting one featuring Mikkelin Kissat vs MyPa.
In the league MyPa are on 24 points and MiKP are on 21. The goalscoring stats for MyPa are hilarious with 35 goals scored and 34 conceded. They can score the goals but they just can’t defend them to save their lives.
MiKP are a pretty sturdy team at home. They played another high scoring team in the league recently – JaPS – and beat them 1-0 at home. For reference, JaPS thumped MyPa 7-1 away recently too.
MiPK have no problems scoring and they should have no problems against the MyPa defense.
I like MIPK to get a win here. I think their defense can hold up well as they have shown in the past and that they should be able to score against MyPa easily enough.

Iceland Urvalsdeild Betting Tips: KA Akureyri vs FH Hafnarfjordur
It could be I’m missing something but I’ve read through the previews as best as I can and am not sure why KA are big underdogs here.
They’ve been solid at home and looked like a good team. They have conceded just 4 goals in 7 games at home. Hafnarfjordur haven’t been excellent on the road or anything. Hafnarfjordur are a better team but I don’t know if they deserve to be such big favourites here.
Like I said I might be missing something but looking at the data, I think KA Akureyri are worth a bet here.
