Well it’s been a good couple of weeks in the Scottish Premier League.
We started with a 4-2, with two 2u plays winning. Last weekend on Saturday we went 1-1 for an 0.5u profit, and then 3-1 for a 4.02 profit.
Just wish Glasgow Rangers were doing as well as my bets were!
The EPL is back this weekend so I will likely cover that.
I’ll cover Brentford vs Arsenal and look at a random few Scottish League Cup games. Then I will be back tomorrow to cover the EPL.
Brentford vs Arsenal:
Awesome to see Brentford up here and I am sure the fans will be going nuts for them.
They did a great job in the final part of the Championship season and were a beast at home.
Arsenal are Arsenal. A team I absolutely hate backing. They’ve screwed me so many times. This is one of those times where I want to back them as at about 1.80 odds it’s a decent price but boy do they have me concerned.
I also think Arteta could be out soon and that can cause issues.
Toney is starting and I am sure he is wanting to really prove himself. He was a beast last season. I think this game has the possibility of goals, and I am going with 1u on Over 2.05 Goals.
Rangers vs Dunfermline:
A combination of fatigue from playing on Tuesday, desperation from the results, and just a rather shaky defense right now – I feel like Dunfermline can get on the scoresheet. As a fan I really hope for a professional performance from Rangers, but I’m going to go with 1u on Both Teams to Score at 2.25 odds.
Ayr vs Dundee Utd:
Honestly surprised at the price we are getting on Dundee Utd. Yeah they sold Shanks but let’s be honest he just wasn’t enough for them anymore.
Ayr have struggled a bit in the Championship thus far although did look solid in the League Cup. I can easily bet 1u on Dundee Utd at 2.05 odds though.
Dundee vs Motherwell:
Motherwell have a good ability to get on the scoresheet. Dundee will be looking to erase the memories from last weekend. They showed a lot of fight in the St. Mirren game and I expect similar here.
1u on Over 2.5 Goals at 2.20 odds
Note the above two are very tempting to go 2u. Cup football can be a tad weird though.
