Well it was a gutting result for Getafe who we backed to win on Friday. They took a lead in the 20th minute against Granada however Granada scored in both the 70th and 79th minute to end up winning 2-1.
I will say it was a fair result and Getafe seemed to run out of steam after that early goal which was disappointing especially considering what they have going for them in the league.
Football is a bit mental over the next week with English, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Portugese, Danish and Norwegian matches.
The EPL basically has football almost every single day going forward and it’s going to be nuts. I know I am super excited about it. Going to make me a lot more busy but that’s okay I am down with that. To be honest going to take me a little while to get back into the swing of things ha.
Let’s get into Saturdays matches I’m just focusing on the Bundesliga here and have picked two plays I like:
Hertha Berlin vs Eintracht Frankfurt Betting Tips:
Hertha Berlin have been exceptional since the break although they had their first loss away to Borussia Dortmund. They lost 1-0.
Frankfurt have been pretty solid too although they had that tough loss to Mainz last week.
Frankfurt are a good example of how away form doesn’t matter. They had the worst away record in the league prior to the break I believe but have actually won 2 road games post break with wins over Bremen and Wolfsburg.
Can they make it three as they take on Hertha Berlin? They do have the third highest xG in the league post-break. Sadly ofr them they have the highest xGA.
Bookies expect there to be goals here. I agree and think both teams will get on the scoresheet here.

Paderborn vs Werder Bremen Betting Tips:
Call me crazy but I think Paderborn can potentially break their 11 games without a win and pick up their first win here.
Bremen came out of the break flying but have started struggling again. Their issue has been goalscoring and they have the 2nd worst xG in the league.
Paderborn have been a bit of a surprise. Absolute draw specialists. xG wise they’re performing slightly better than Werder Bremen and their finishing should be better.
A draw does seem possibly as well. Really this seems like a 1 goal type of game and I’m happy to take on Paderborn here albeit factoring in the draw too.
