This week I’ll be tackling the Byron Nelson.
I passed on last week as I didn’t see much I liked. Would have been nice to have been on Wyndham at 80/1!. Where was that sort of form when we backed him at the Genesis Invitational back in February!
Then next week we have the PGA Championship.
Scottie goes into this one as stupid odds favourite at 4.50.
Let’s se what we got – as a reminder, they switched venues in 2021 so not a ton of data.

My system looks fairly close to the odds just based on the metrics for this course. Not factoring in form, it goes with:
– Scottie
– Hatton
– Day
– Kim
– Min Woo Lee
– Hoge
– Kuchar
Always kind of neat there as it’s a reminder that I’m generally on the right track – at least in terms of what the sportsbooks think.
1/4u on Hatton To Win & E/W @ 12/1
Not loving his current baseline odds of about 12/1. He was 16/1 earlier in the week and might be that at some sportsbooks still so shop around for that. The more value the better obviously. I had a look at a few and didn’t see that price sadly.
After a couple of weeks off, he looked great last week at the Wells Fargo, and has had some impressive results.
Think his game suits this course well, and beyond Scottie is the clear 2nd favourite.

How do you now? Played well last week, and of course has won twice at this course. Just based n that, he should be there or thereabouts you would hope.
