The Sony Open was a very fun tournament, and we actually got a small cash in it which was nice.
I felt bad for Tom Hoge who performed so well throughout the entire tournament but then just failed on the back 9 on the final round. Poor guy couldn’t even get in the playoff.
We had Brian Harman and needed him to place in the top 5 and he did that barely. He struggled a bit but managed to hit a birdie on the final hole to get us that cash whew.
Pity as he could have won that tournament after such a great start.

Always a tricky one with the course rotation. I’ll be doing small bets on this one as I don’t believe I’ve ever had an actual winner here.
Brian Harman: I’m a bit concerned about his drift at the end at the Sony Open. He did enough to get that tied for 4th place spot but the final two rounds were a disappointed and it could be time for his form to drop. However he did get a 3rd place finish here last year. I’m going with 1/4 unit to win & E/W.
Adam Hadwin: Some strong performances here and he was the bridesmaid last year. At his price I’m good with 1/4 unit to win & E/W.
Phil Mickelson: The big man loves this course and has multiple wins here. He’s someone who the course rotation will never affect. Gotta go with 1/4 unit to win & E/W.
Chris Kirk: Came in strong last week after the break and he’s been okay here in the past. At his price he’s woirth a 1/4 unit to win & E/W.
Jhonattan Vegas: He won here many years ago and I liked his performance last week. Worth a 1/8 unit to win & E/W bet.
