So, we’re counting down the weeks until the NFL playoffs, and there are a tonne of different permutations still to play out over the last few weeks of the season. Rival teams are cheering each other on so they can secure a playoff berth, or get a better seeding. Unless you’re the Browns and you want that perfect season, then the outcome is simple – just lose.
In the English Premiership, the league took another turn as Arsenal lost to Manchester City and Liverpool beat Everton this evening. Chelsea just continued on, and Arsenal fans must just think that December is their new November. Chelsea will go into Christmas leading the league no matter what, and every time they’ve done it, they’ve ended the season as champions. So, should they be breaking out the champagne at Stamford Bridge already? Well, I honestly couldn’t tell you, considering how topsy-turvy this season has been already, but the record-breakers at Chelsea are looking dangerous and I wouldn’t be betting against them any time soon.

Panthers vs Redskins Betting Tip
Two of the teams that fall into the categories I mentioned earlier are the Panthers and the Redskins. The Redskins just need to keep winning to get the wildcard place, while the Panthers need to keep winning, bu they also need to get the calculators out and work out exactly what results they need from their other teams to even get a sniff of that sweet playoff action.
But the Panthers need to win on the road, something they’ve only done once this season. The Redskins are a much better 4-2 at home, and will be confident of adding to that tonight. The question here, really, is by how much they should win this by. The Panther’ road problems have been their problem, as well as injuries, and they’ve been coughing up points for fun, which is great for the Redskins. However, the Redkins aren’t doing things easy this season and seem to have more tight wins than the Lions.
The Lions are giving up almost 26 points a game and scoring almost 24, while the Redskins are giving up just over 24 and scoring just over 25. So, looking at that, it’s no wonder the Redskins have been involved in so many squeakers this season. Rushing yards are almost identical for both teams, with 0.1 splitting their averages per game. It’s the passing yards that split them, with the Redskins leading by a considerable distance.
However, I see this being tight, as both teams are fairly matched, so we’re definitely taking the seven points the Panthers are getting. Panthers +7 is our play tonight.
