Today we’ll cover the two remaining Champions League games for the week. I might take a dabble at the Europa League on Thursday too. Just have to see.
We’ve got Bayern Munich vs Lazio and Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid.
Let’s get right into it:
Bayern Munich vs Lazio:
Munich absolutely thrashed Lazio 4-1 away. Since then Munich have won all 3 of their domestic games and Lazio have had a couple losses and then beat Crotone. Good stuff beating Crotone haha.
Lazio have clearly given up I mean they even admitted the game against Crotone was more important. You have to wonder if they go into this game with no pressure and that helps them.
I can’t see it. Munich are 1.30 favourites here and I expect a good victory as they flex their muscle.
The goals market is a bit iffy but I am going to go with 1u on Munich -1.5. You never know with a lead like this if a team will shut up shop otherwise I’d do more. 1.83 odds for that though nice wee price.
Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid:
Chelsea hold a tight 1-0 lead over Atletico Madrid. THey go into this game unbeaten from the group stages and qualifying rounds with a whopping 5 clean sheets in 7 games. The other two games they conceded just one goal. That’s incredible.
Since the first leg, domestically Chelsea have yet to concede a goal. Insane man what a team. Atletico have stuttered with draws against Real and Getafe.
This is a tough one. Would love to back something on a clean sheet here but 90 minutes in Champions League is tough.
Chelsea without Mount and Jorginho too. Atletico will have to get desperate and Chelsea may be able to counter attack on them. I’m good with 1u on Chelsea to win at 2.28 odds.
