Alrighty so I covered the October 27th Champions League games. Might as well go through the games taking place on Wednesday, October 28th.
I’ll likely skip the Europa League games taking place this week.
Honestly just too many games to really look through. Only real strategy I have with so many games is to look at close odds games and then analyze them to see if there is a bet. However I think I want a bit more data for that.
So with that let’s look at the Champions League games taking place on Wednesday:
October 28th, 2020 Champions League Bets:
Istanbul Basaksehir vs PSG:
PSG had that shock loss against Man Utd. Have to think they come out and flex their muscle here. Istanbul were struggling a bit in the laegue however are looking better with that big win over Antalyaspor. Gotta think PSG do the business but I don’t trust the handicap. Turkey is never a fun place to come.
Krasnodar vs Chelsea:
Both teams are on a point. Chelsea are heavy favourites. Krasnodar have had mixed results domestically but then so have Chelsea who have only logged two wins. I’m so tempted to back the draw here however Krasnodar has their squad ripped apart with injury and COVID. Based on that Chelsea should destroy them although man I don’t have enough faith to back them. No bet.
Club Brugge vs Lazio:
Both teams got wins to start off their Champions League season. Odds are in favour of Brugge. They have been struggling a wee bit domestically. Lazio have too although will be happy to have got that win over Bologna.
Brugge will have Mignolet and Krmencik available it looks like. Lot of options for them and they look lethal. Still I rate Lazio enough. I’ll do 0.5u on the draw at 3.50 odds.
Dortmund vs Zenit:
Both teams suffered losses to open the Champions League. Price on Dortmund at 1.33 isn’t worth it. They should win probably with a clean sheet but I just don’t think it’s worth the bet. Zenit are tricky.
Sevilla vs Rennes:
Both teams with draws to open the campaign. Sevilla have had a couple of tough losses in the league while Rennes have just lost once. Very tempted by the draw here but going to stay away.
Ferencvaros vs Dynamo Kiev:
Big game for Sergiy Rebrov. Don’t feel comfortable enough to bet here. Probably will do a casual bet on the draw for entertainment but not enough to even advise.
Juventus vs Barcelona:
Ooof the big game. Barcelona struggling in the league and Juventus only 2 wins and 3 draws. Don’t even know if Ronaldo is in yet. Even if he was I will say no bet. Just very tough one to call but should be a banger.
Man Utd vs Leipzig:
With Ole you just never know what to expect with Man Utd. I am staying away from this one.
