First a quick note – I’m making some changes to the comments system. I was working on it briefly today but never got it finished.
Hopefully will get it wrapped up tomorrow. I’m ditching Disqus and going with an internal system as Disqus is crap – never notifies me of new comments for example.
Champions League is this week. When it comes to betting I’m never the biggest fan of betting on the Champions League but I figure hey why not get some content going and see if we can get off to a good start then maybe I will continue.
Let’s go through the games:
Sevilla vs FC Salzburg:
Salzburg have been crushing it domestically. Sevilla have been solid enough too. They at least are well rested with the Barca game canceled. At 1.61 I am going to put them in a double with Chelsea. Salzburg have some solid youth in there like Adeyemi and Sesko and this game could be decent for goals, although Sevilla have been good defensively this year.
Young Boys vs Man Utd:
Can’t see anything but a Man U walk. Young Boys have been struggling a bit and I see Man U winning 1-0 or 2-0.
Barcelona vs Bayern Munich:
Wish we had that Sevilla game to really gauge the strength of Barcelona. At 1.95 odds though, happy to back 1u on Bayern Munich to win. Especially with Aguero, Dembele and Fati all out for Barca.
Chelsea vs Zenit St. Petsburg:
Chelsea have been excellent this season. Zenit are no pushover that’s for sure. Chelsea are missing Pulisic of course, but with Lukaku they have that excellent goalscoring threat. 1u on the aforementioned Double with Sevilla for 1.90 odds.
Dynamo Kiev vs Benfica:
Both teams unbeaten domestically. Benfica with a 100% winning run, Kiev just the one blemish in their draw with Inhulets.
Kiev have an issue in a lot of their forwards are out. They are missing four strikers. I think that will hurt them enough. I was leaning the draw but going with Benfica to win at 2.30 odds for 1u.
Lille vs Wolfsburg:
It’s been a brutal start to the domestic season for Lille. Really struggling in Ligue 1. Happy to back the team with momentum. 1u on Wolfsburg Draw No Bet at 1.83 odds.
Malmo vs Juventus:
What a brutal start for Juventus. Against a team knee deep into their season – lot of pressure here. Happy to gamble on Malmo or Draw at 2.62 for 1u.
Villarreal vs Atalanta:
1u on the Draw at 3.60,.
