They need a high-scoring draw, Roma need a win – it’s easy to see where the value is here – it’s the side that need the win and the side playing at home. Roma to beat Manchester City at around 9/5 is terrific value against a Manchester City team that should be out already if not for the miracle against Bayern.
Ajax vs APOEL Nicosia.
Not a glamour tie here, but Ajax stick out as huge value. They’re a classy team, although not the force of old. However, Nicosia haven’t been great shakes in the Champions League, while Ajax have impressed, even if it’s only sporadically. They’re value at around 4/6, we have them shorter than that when we’re pricing it up, so the value is there.

This game tonight is the first of four games that both sides will participate in against each other. Game 2 will take place in two days’ time. The Ducks held the advantage in the 5 games the sides played last year, taking it 3-2. Last year we saw a lot of goals, with no game recoding less than 5, with seven goals scored twice. While we like the Ducks, the key thing that’s missing is the value. Back them if you want but we can’t see the value in the bet. But we see the value in backing Over 5.5 goals in the game tonight. Get stuck into the 1.87 odds on offer – it’s very tasty given the stats.
