A 1-1 record last night.
We took the Sixers over the Nets last night, but between my writing and tip-off the Sixers ended up scratching Joel Embiid. I had big thoughts of him dominating this game and without him, that obviously didn’t happen.
Our other pick was the Kings over the Warriors and this one came in easily. The final score was 100-79 and the Warriors never lead after midway point in the first quarter. Bogan Bogdanovic lead the way with 25 points off the bench.
Last night we also saw the Lakers grab the win over the Hawks to improve to 24-3 on the season. They currently sit atop the Western Conference. They are off tonight, but they have a match-up with the Bucks for Thursday night that should be a great one.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Dallas Mavericks Betting Tips:
The Bucks have won 18 straight and are going for 19 tonight at home against the Mavericks. This was a game that was probably circled as a potential end to this streak, but with the loss of Luka Doncic to an injury it seems like they should win here. If the Bucks manage to win this game they’ll go for 20, to tie the franchise record, against the Lakers. What a game that will be.
We shouldn’t quite look ahead to that one quite yet and neither should the Bucks. Even though this team is without Doncic, they have still been the #1 offense in the NBA this season. The Bucks recently lost Eric Bledsoe to an injury and he’ll be out two weeks. That’s a tough one for them, but Giannis and Khris Middleton are healthy here.
Still, I think the Bucks should dominate here. They have a clear size advantage and I love the match-up of Giannis Antetokounmpo on Kristaps Porzingis. Maybe before the injury a couple of years ago these two were on the same level, but Giannis has leveled up so much since then it seems like a distant memory. This team can smell the blood and they want that marquee match-up with the Lakers on Thursday. Let’s do it.

Miami Heat vs. Memphis Grizzlies Betting Tips:
The Heat have been one of the better teams to be on this season and I think that will continue tonight. For the season, they have a 16-8 record against the spread, a 10-3 against the spread record as a favorite, and a 3-1 ATS record as a home favorite. Despite all of that they are a relatively small favorite at -5 against the Grizzlies here tonight.
Miami is in the top ten in both Offensive Rating and Defensive Rating while the Grizzlies are more towards the bottom, ranking 24th in Offensive Rating and 20th in Defensive Rating.
The Heat are better on both ends of the floor here and I would expect a big game from Jimmy Butler here as he can simply toy with this team. I think the Heat win big tonight and this line is just way too low based on the match-up.
